Targeting the complex working environment, low efficiency of manual transport and high labor intensity in mountains orchard transportation without suitable transport domestically, the7YGD-45traction drive type single-tracks orchard transport was developed. This paper demonstrates the main technical parameters of the machine, the overall structure, working principles, the structural design of key components and the machine’s technical innovation. and mainly solved the following key technical problems: wire rope loop two-way driving, clamping between the rack and rail, traction wire rope tensioning device, etc. The transport car in orbit modal analysis using finite element analysis software ANSYS to analyze the stability of the transport aircraft, optimizing the structure parameters. The machine can meet the needs of loading300Kg (uphill) and500Kg (downhill), and can realize the stable transportation with a speed of0.7m/s, in the mountain whose largest slope is45degree, and the smallest bend radius is4m. The transport machine can not only be used in the mountain orchard to transport the fruits and fertilizers, but also can be equipped with spraying operations, cutting operations, or other operations. Transport was equipped with spraying operation in Dan Jiang Kou City. The trial result shows that it has good applicability, and it’s the suitable equipment for mountain orchard’s merchandize production. The main research conclusion in paper as following:1) Option transmission scheme of monorail orchard transports; provide sufficient power to the motor, while using the remote control device to control the start of the monorail transport at any time to run and stop. Transport can achieve the load of500kg and speed of0.7m/s in order to select the motor power and speed. The V-belt and gearbox were determined by motor parameters.2) Wire rope fixed in both ends of travelling bogie; it can achieve loop two-way driving by frictional force between rope and the driving wheels; and calculated the force of wire rope in the driving wheels and wire rope were analyzed of winding in the driving wheels.3) The supported wheel and T-type clamping wheel on rail were designed to prevent the transport car to derailment and side down; the transport can achieve the minimum horizontal turning radius of4m through the gap in two supported wheels and the gap between wheel and rail. 4) The loading conditions were analyzed of track; the track was studied by simulation round the bend, it obtained that maximum deformation of the track is0.90757mm when transport running of load500kg and speed of0.7m/s in the corner track. Modal analysis by ANSYS has come to the track1-10steps natural frequencies and mode of vibration about track, it provides important theoretical basis for stability of running.5) The demonstration running tests in the Dan Jiang Kou Citrus Experiment Station showed that the transport’s operating parameters can achieve the uphill load300kg, downhill Load500kg, maximum climbing angle of45°, downhill average speed of0.65m/s loaded300kg, minimum horizontal turning radius of4m, it can meet the design demand.
