Targeting the practical problems of complex working environment, low efficiency of manual transport and high labor intensity in mountains orchard transportation, and without suitable transport domestically, the7YGS-45style auto large slope double tracks orchard transport was developed.This paper demonstrates the main technical parameters of the machine, the overall structure, the working principles, the structural design of key components and the machine’s technical innovation, and mainly solved the following key technical problems:the steel wire rope and a couple of driving wheels cooperated friction drive, the track holding and disc braking cooperated braking, anti-side slipping and anti-jumping, anti rope rising and anti rope straightening during the rail curves, trailer’s slope adaptive adjustment, etc. It simulated the driven part with the software of ADAMS and ANSYS to analysis the stability of the transport, and optimized the structure parameters. The machine can meet the needs of loading300Kg (uphill) and800Kg (downhill), and can realize the stable transportation with a speed of1.0-1.5m/s, in the mountain which with the largest slope of45degree, and the smallest bend radius is of8m. The transport machine can not only be used in the mountain orchard to transport the fruits and fertilizers, but also can be equipped with spraying operations, cutting operations, or other operations. Transport was tested in Huazhong Agricultural University citrus demonstration garden and equipped with spraying operation in Zi Gui County. The trial result shows that it has good applicability, and it’s the suitable equipment for mountain orchard’s merchandize production.The main research conclusion as following:1. The7YGS-45style auto large slope double tracks orchard transport can realize climbing, turning horizontally and vertically, going forward and backward, braking at any moment, and so on.2. The drive reel and wire rope cooperated friction can realize elasticity sliding and friction, which can satisfy the actual needs and make sure the reliable operation of drive assembly; The automatically return hook pile device, installed on the track, ensure the fixed position of wire rope always in the center of the track, which can guarantee the smooth running of the dual-track transport. The braking devices consist of disc braking, rail-holding braking and anti-decline devices can ensure the safety operation of the transport.3. The slope adaptive adjustment trailer can ensure the container adjust the angle automatically due to its gravity, no matter during the process of uphill or downhill. Hence the container always in a horizontal level, and make sure the fruits will not been dropped out.4. Use ADAMS to do the machine dynamic study and kinematics study of the wire rope and driving wheel cooperated friction-driven model, to gain the kinetics parameters and kinematics parameters’variation rule of drive assembly in the running course, and to verify the model consistent with the actual operation. Use software ANSYS to analyze the stress distribution and deformation of drive reel and drive shaft subjected to the maximum load, to verify the model’s reliability, and to provide important theoretical basis for the design of the drive assembly. Through the simulation and stability analysis of the transport’s key component drive assembly, combined with optimization and improvement of the structural parameters during actual running test, to improve the transport’s operation reliability.5. The demonstration running tests showed that the transport’s operating parameters can achieve the uphill load of300kg, downhill Load of800kg, maximum climbing angle of45°, uphill speed of1.31m/s none load, uphill speed of1.0m/s loaded with300kg, the minimum horizontal turning radius of8m, the minimum vertical turning radius of10m, which is in line with the goal of design. The transport adopts operation way of self-walking, which improves the operability, flexibility and adaptability, and makes it suitable for transporting the fruits and fertilizers in mountain orchard, and also can be equipped with spraying operations and cutting operations.
