Unlike the other traditional flowers, Jasmine was introduced into China from the foreign countries before Jin Dynasty,then widely spreaded in China. Jasmine have ornamental, medicinal, edible and industrial value, and become the subject of many poetries,are widely used in beauty cosmetics,food seasonings, medicine and health care, etc.The jasmine’s name is not only one I think the jasmine was introduced before the Jin Dynasty through Silk Road into China by sea. Maritime Silk Road was a connection and an extension of China’s overseas trade in ancient, China’s famous ceramics, tea, silk and iron are sold to west countries, and west drugs also come to China through this route.Before Jin Dynasty, Chinese and the foreign have frequent exchange through maritime Silk Road. From the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty in China China were in a big division period of war swirling between the north and the south, Jasmine came to China from the north to the south by overland Silk Road was unlikely, therefore, Jasmine was more likely introduced into China by sea, and then gradually introduced the coastal areas,then to the mainland. Jasmine was brought into China form the Persians or Indians. But the earliest and most extensive argument is that the jasmine was from Persia. Jasmine came to China,were widely grown in the Lingnan area, as time goes by, gradually spread to inland regions.China has a long history of jasmine’s cultivation, processing and the use technology. This paper introduce the jasmine cultivation methods from the perspective of ancient agricultural techniques. In "Southern grass-like" of Jin Dynasty,it has already been recorded, at then people had got some jasmine’s cultivation methods, and by the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty Jasmine, cultivation technology has a considerable improvement, as jasmine is not hardy, jasmine origin is in tropical and subtropical regions, it likes hot weather. Therefore, in Fujian, Guangzhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Taiwan, Jiangxi, Hunan, eastern Sichuan, southern Zhejiang and other places, jasmine can be cultivatied outside, in Lingbei, Jiangnan area, jasmine should be taken measures according to local climatic conditions, or cover the plants when cold weather arrives,or potted, and even move into flat in order to go away form the cold winter. Jasmine like fertilizer, reproduct by branches and other vegetative organs. Layering and cutting are two common methods of vegetative propagation. The ancients considered that inserted jasmine can take root as easy as inserted hibiscus, than they used cutting method. The ancients have kown that jasmine’s roots, stems, leaves, flowers are all available raw materials. Therefore, jasmine have ornamental value, rich fragrance and the cellar can make tea and cosmetics, but also can be used as delicious food, making jasmine alcohol. Jasmine also have medicinal value, jasmine’s leaves, roots can be used as medicine. Jasmine tea is a traditional health drinks, have good effect on health care. Useing jasmine flowers as raw material can also be extracted expensive jasmine essential oil.Jasmine had a tremendous impact on China’s economic, social life and culture since it came to China in ancient times. The city HengXian in Guangxi is the important areas of jasmine industries. There has been formed a initial production chain of jasmine. Jasmine is everywhere in our daily lives, jasmine’s culture have also been handed down, a folk song "Good a Beautiful Jasmine" is popular.in China, Jasmine’s acreage will continue to expand the industrial chain. As a flower of full variety of value.Jasmine will play a more important role in wealth,which has more benefit to mankind.
