Ips typographus Linnaeus is a secondary pest and endangers natural spruce forest, especially mature and over-mature spruce forest, also directly aggrieves healthy standing tree under suitable condition or when pest is serious and makes the death of large area of the forest with other bark beetles, resulting in massive losses to local ecological environment and forestry production. In order to achieve a better control, this papper was started in the view of the chemical substances, and extract volatiles in needle and branch of Picea crassifolia and the dejection of Ips typographus Linnaeus by GC-MS, then makes biological assay by "Y"-type olfactometer. The study shows:1. There are50compounds identified from the volatiles in branch of Picea crassifolia by GC-MS, and the most compounds are C10and C15, but no more than C15compounds.The most compounds are the terpen substances. There are6alcohols substances reached2.45%,in which3,3,7,11-Tetramethyltricyclo[5.4.0.0(4,11)]undecan-1-ol is most2.12%;There are1ester Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-ol,l,7,7-trimethyl-,acetate,(1S-endo)-reached1.76%;There are1polyphenol0.04%;There are1ether0.22%; There are41terpen and arene95.46%and they are most, in which a-Pinene35.41%,a-Phellandrene22.57%and Camphene11.19%are most.2.42volatile compositions were found in needle of Picea crassifolia by GC-MS, which are C10and C15, but no more than C15compounds. There are5alcohols substances reached0.39%; There are1acid reached0.04%; There are2ester reached16.76%; There are1ketone4-(3-Hydroxy-2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-l-enyl)pent-3-en-2-one reached2.64%; There are2phenol reached0.59%; There are31terpen and arene reached79.36%and they are most, in which a-Pinene19.64%, and a-Phellandrene23.10%.3.36volatile compositions were found in dejection of Ips typographus Linnaeus by GC-MS,in which There are7alkane reached4.11%;There are1acid reached1.50%;There are5ester reached30.91%;There are2aldehyde reached1.62%;There are7terpen reached14.21%;There are1ether reached0.95%;There are4arene reached1.68%.4.The behavioral response to Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-ol,1,7,7-trimethyl-,acetate,(1S-endo)-, a-Pinene, a-Phellandrene and Camphene were tested by "Y"-type olfactometer in 4kinds of concentration(0.1μlμl-1、0.05μlμl-1、0.01μlμl-1、0.01μlμl-1), the study showed: when the concentration of Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-ol,1,7,7-trimethyl-,acetate,(1S-endo)-is0.01μlμl-1, the induce effect is best reached36.67%; when the concentration of α-Phellandrene is0.01μlμl-1, the induce effect is best reached33.33%; when the concentration of α-Pinene is0.01μlμl-1, the attractant effect is best reached56.67%; when the concentration of Camphene is0.01μlμl-1, the induce effect is best reached26.67%.The paper preliminarily determined attractant effect of4kinds of plant volatiles to Ips typographus Linnaeus by GC-MS and behavioral response. The behavioral response showed: attractant effect of α-Pinene is better, and Bicyclo[2.2.1] heptan-2-ol,1,7,7-trimethyl-,acetate,(1S-endo)-, α-Phellandrene and Camphene takes second place. This study provides further theoretical basis of chemical communication mechanism, to achieve the sustainable management purpose.
