This experiment was focued on the effects of Lactobacillus delbrueckii on gut immunity of suckling piglets. In this experiment, we selected16litters healthy newborn piglets of similar parity, perinatal and litter size, divided into control group and experimental randomly, each littler of8head, each group of the8repeat, each repeat one farrow. The control group and the experimental group irrigated under1ml,2ml,3ml,4ml saline and Lactobacillus delbrueckii liquid at birth before eating breast milk,4d,8d,15d at8:00. During the test, observed and recorded the diarrhea and death of piglets carefully everyday, and killed a healthy boars from each litter in7d,14d and21d, scraped the intestinal mucosa, acquisited intestinal tissue for the analysis of relevant index. The results are as follows:(1) The effects of Lactobacillus delbrueckii on production performance of suckling pigletsDuring the test, the experimental group piglet end weight and weight gain at the end of litter was significantly higher than the control group, and had the significant difference (P<0.01); the diarrhoea and mortality rates of experimental group piglets were significantly lower than the control group throughout the experimental period, and had the significant difference (P<0.01). Noted that the Lactobacillus delbrueckii had a good resistance, anti diarrhoea and promoted growth effect.(2) The effects of Lactobacillus delbrueckii on cytokine content in Intestinal mucosal of suckling pigletsThe experimental group SIgA content of jejunum and ileum higher than the control group during the test, but have no significant differences (P>0.05), and control group SIgA content of ileum significantly higher than experimental group at14d (P<0.05); experimental group IL-2content of jejunum was higher than control group at7d (P<0.05), experimental group compared with the control group had no significant difference at14d and21d (P>0.05), experimental group IL-2content of ileum compared with the control group had no significant difference during the test(P>0.05); experimental group IL-4content of jejunum was higher than control group at7d (P<0.05), and have no significant difference at14d and21d, experimental group IL-4content of ileum lower than control group at7d (P<0.05),and have no significant difference at14d, higher than control group at21d (P<0.05); experimental groupINF-y content of jejunum was higher than control group during the test, and had significant difference at7d (P<0.05), had differences significantly at14d(P<0.01), had no significant difference at2Id (P>0.05), experimental group INF-y content of ileum higher than control group at21d (P<0.05),and slightly lower than control group at7d and14d, but had no significant difference (P>0.05).(3) The effects of Lactobacillus delbrueckii on the number of lymphocyte and goblet cells in intestinal intraepithelial of suckling pigletsThe experimental group of duodenum lymphocyte numbers were higher than control group during the test, and had differences significantly at7d(P<0.01), had significant differences at14d(P<0.05), had no significant differences at21d(P>0.05), the experimental group of Jejunum lymphocyte numbers were higher than control group during the test too, and had differences significantly at7d and14d (P<0.01), had no significant differences at21d(P>0.05), the experimental group of Jejunal segment and ileum lymphocyte numbers were higher than control group, but no significant differences at21d(P>0.05); The experimental group of duodenum goblet cells higher than control group during the test, and had significant differences at7d(P<0.05), had no significant differences at14d and21d(P>0.05), the experimental group of Jejunum goblet cells higher than control group during the test too, and had differences significantly at7d(P<0.01), had significant differences at14d(P<0.05), had no significant differences at21d(P>0.05), the experimental group of Jejunal segment goblet cells higher than control group during the test, but had no significant differences (P>0.05), the experimental group of ileum goblet cells higher than control group during the test, and had significant differences at21d(P<0.05), had no significant differences at7d and14d(P>0.05).(4) The effects of Lactobacillus delbrueckii on the ZO-1and Occludin mRNA abundance of intestinal tight junction proteins of suckling pigletsThe experimental group of ZO-1mRNA abundance of each bowel higher than control group during the test, but in addition to the jejunum were significantly higher than control group at7d(P<0.05), other various intestinal in each period had no significant differences than control group (P>0.05); the experimental group of Occludin mRNA abundance of each bowel higher than control group during the test, but in addition to the duodenum and jejunum were significantly higher than control group at21d(P<0.05), other various intestinal in each period had no significant differences than control group too (P>0.05).To sum up, fed lactation piglets with Lactobacillus delbrueckii can improve the immune cytokines secretion of piglets, increase the number of lymphocyte and goblet cells of intestinal intraepithelial, peomote the expression of Occludin and ZO-1of intestinal junction protein in a certain extent, and prevent sucking piglets diarrhea effectively.Accroading to the diarrhea cases of piglets, we found that Lactobacillus delbrueckii can prevent piglets diarrhoea effectively all the time, according to the analysis of the gut-associated immune indices, Lactobacillus delbrueckii play a role mainly in dundenum and jejunum.
