Genliana macrophylla Pall, Gentiana dahurica Fisch, Gentiana straminea Maxim and G. crassicaulis.Duthie ex Burk as original gentian spices, which belongs to Gentianaceae Gentiana L Sect were included in the "Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China".With its dry root used for medical, gentiopicroside is the main medicinal component.At present, pharmacology and histochemistry are the mainly research, but the relationship of composition and its grow site have less report.Further more,they haven’t detailed more appropriate environmental factors about accumulation of medical component. This study used by HPLC in order to measure the content of gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species from different sites. The soil samples were analyzed using atomic absorption spectral analysis method, alkali solution diffusion method and sodium bicarbonate method. The meteorological datas is collected from "China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System ".Finally, we analyze the variations of gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species,and the correlation with soil and meteorological factors.In order to provide a reference for culture, it can identify soil and meteorological factors is good for gentiopicroside’s accumulation.1Showed significant differences of gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species’ aboveground parts and root, which indicates the content of gentiopicroside for source plants have obvious difference.2There was a positive correlation between gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species’ root and available Fe, rapidly available N and P, but have negative correlation with pH. There was a positive correlation between gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana macrophylla Pall’s root and available Fe,Mn and P, but have negative correlation with available Cu and N.Rapidly available P is the most important factor. There was a positive correlation between gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana dahurica Fisch’s root and rapidly available N. PCA indicates rapidly available N is the most important factor.3The gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species’ root went augmenting with the rainfall, pressure, temperature increased and sunshine hours reduced. The gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana macrophylla Pall’s root went augmenting with the rainfall, temperature increased and sunshine hours reduced.The gentiopicroside accumulation for Gentiana dahurica Fisch’s root went augmenting with the pressure, temperature increased and sunshine hours reduced. PCA indicates sunshine hours is the most important factor.4The most helpful soil factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species’ root are pH of5.6-7.5.The most helpful soil factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall’s root are of available Cu of1.7-2.0mg/kg,available Fe of14-19%,available Mn of24-50mg/kg,rapidly available N of7.5-54mg/kg and9-50%,rapidly available P of6-17%.The most helpful soil factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana dahurica Fisch’s root are available Cu of0.9-1.3mg/kg,available Mn of2-8%,rapidly available N of74-85%,rapidly available P of6-7mg/kg.5The most helpful environmental factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall and its relative species’root are average annual rainfall of500-900mm.,temperature of9-16℃, sunshine hours of1400-2400h, pressure of825-950hPa.The most helpful environmental factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana macrophylla Pall’s root are average annual rainfall of500-800mm,temperature of11-16℃, sunshine hours of1400-2000h. The most helpful environmental factors for accumulate gentiopicroside for Gentiana dahurica Fisch’s root are average annual temperature of9-11℃, sunshine hours of2000-2450h, pressure of850-950hPa.
