It is important for all wood processing enterprises to measure the wood moisture content accurately and rapidly.The traditional method of weighing is one of the basic method of measuring wood moisture content, because of its high accuracy and wide measurement range,it is widely used,now.But the cycle of this approach is so long.And it must be prepared the test panels,so it has destructive shortcomings.In this paper,the design of the lumber moisture content classification detection system is overcome these shortcomings.According to the definition of the wood moisture content,use advanced sensor technology and online to get its wet weight and size detection,for getting his moisture content,to prepare for the subsequent classification.In actual production work,the sawn timber depending on the moisture content of grading and drying will greatly shorten the drying cycle,reducing drying costs,it has important production of practical value.According to the system function, determines the overall design of the program. In this paper,it describes the system design process from the hardware and software in detail.The hardware part includes he weighing part of the hardware circuit design, photoelectric gating signal hardware circuit design and serial communication interface design; The software part includes the microcontroller software design and software design of the host computer.Draw the flowchart to realize the system functions.And write single-chip system program.After debugging,experimental materials is tested, and the experimental results and energy saving effect is analyzed.The experimental results show that the system can reliably run to complete the pre-sorting lumber dry before. Based on the energy conservation analysis, Lumber pre-drying based on the moisture content range of different grading dry, can shorten the drying cycle, reduce energy consumption; while improving drying quality, reduce defects in the drying process. The contents of this article with great economic and practical value.
