In forest logging, logging means the operation of collecting every felled timber to forest depot. Improper logging operation will compact the soil in the forest area, damage seedlings and royal trees, also do harm to the environment. Currently, there are more young plantation and less mature forest in our country, besides they are pockety. Skidding tractor and ropeway tractor are mainly used in China, animal skidding are replaced by mechanization gradually, while the application area of ropeway skidding is limited since it is restricted to the landform, so tractor skidding is the mainly manner. The effect of tractor skidding on the forest environmental is the most serious.This essay first introduces domestic and overseas minitype environment-friendly skidding study status in the introduction part. Regarding the domestic part, we are still at the first stage of designing and research and mainly use tractor skidding in the forest area; for overseas part, they designed new,dexterous and environmental skidding, and the new ropeway skidding is also renewal continuously. This essay also introduces several common skidding pattern, such as animal,ropeway and tractor at the end of introduction part, mainly focus on their theory,structure,scope and relative merits.This essay works out minitype environment-friendly skidding trailer which basic structure is frame,chassis,towed parts,shock absorption,cap,manual winch and so on. Among all those, cap,trunnion shaft and manual winch are the innovation parts. Cap means to tie one end of raw wood into the cap which is cone-shape, pull an fixed angel when doing the logging in order to reduce the destroy level to the seedlings and royal trees; manual winch can achieve trailer immobility logging objective and deliver the timber to the appointed site; trunnion shaft can enhance the trailer trafficability and stability performance and help the trailer pass the intricate landform.The intricate forest landform requires high trafficability. This essay conducts theoretical calculation and experiment checking directed towards the trafficability、smoothness and stability performance.
