Suaeda salsa, is of chenopodiaceous, which is known as the "Pioneer plant" in the transformation of saline-alkali. Suaeda resources is abundant in our country, it’s distributed in Xinjiang, Mongolian, Shanxi, Liaoning and other provinces. It can be harvested about100-150kg each unit in densely populated region, the Yellow River delta area harvests50million Suaeda seeds per year, but most of them have not been fully development and utilization. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of adding Suaeda oil on ruminal fermentation, rumen degradation rate, nutrition digestive rate and blood indexes of sheep. Four healthy crossbred male sheep (BW=50±2kg) fitted with permanent ruminal cannulas were used in a4x4Latin square design with4periods of12d each. This study was assigned to4dietary treatments:control diet (CK) consisted of60%bean curd and40%concentration a air-dry matter basis, the treatments diets were formulated with supplemental2%、4%and6%Suaedu oil respectively.Test1:Effects of different levels of Suaeda Oil on ruminal environment. Results showed that Suaeda Oil had no effects on pH, NH3-N, acetate, propionate, butyrate, TVFA concentrations, acetate-to-propionate ratio and Enzyme activity (P>0.05).The pH value of2%、4%and6%Suaeda Oil supplement groups was higher than the control group (P>0.05); Compared to the control group, NH3-N concentration of4%and6%treatments improved0.06mg/dL and1.04mg/dL(P>0.05) respectively, but2%group was lower that the control (P>0.05); There were a reduce trend on acetate, propionate, butyrate and TVFA concentrations, but the acetate-to-propionate ratio was increased by adding4%Suaeda Oil (P>0.05); Supplement of Suaeda Oil was higher, the activity of Celosias and Lipase were reduced more, however4%Suaeda Oil could increase the activity of aciculae and CMC-ase, but2%and6%treatment inhibited the activity of both (P>0.05).Test2:Effects of different levels of Suaeda Oil on rumen degradation rate. Rumen dagradation rate of DM, CP, NDF and ADF were measured by the nylon bag technique, results showed that all the indexes were did not differ (P>0.05) among the four groups. DM dagradation rate was lower as the Suaeda Oil supplement higher(P>0.05); Compared to the control group about CP degradation rate,2%and4%supplement groups was higher0.35%and2.06%(P>0.05),6%group could reduce the degradation of CP(P>0.05). The degradation rate of Fiber kind material were none business of the supplement level, because the study confirmed that Suaeda Oil could improve ADF degradation, instead could reduce NDF degradation(P>0.05).Test3:Effects of different levels of Suaeda Oil on total tract dagradation rate of nutrition. In our study, there were no significant influences on apparent total tract of OM、CP and NDF(P>0.05) dagradation rate with Suaeda Oil supplements; As the level increased, the ADF dagradation rate of nutrition were29.81%,29.74%,36.18%and32.28%,4%Suaeda Oil group was higher significantly(P<0.05);2%and4%treatments increased the DM apparent dagradation rate1.93%and6.33%respectively, and the4%group improved significantly(P<0.05), the6%group inhibited the DM dagradation rate(P>0.05).Test4:Effects of different levels of Suaeda Oil on serum indexes. Compared with the control diet, serum TC, TG, HDL, and LDL concentration were influenced significant by Suaeda Oil supplements (P<0.05), and all of the indexes were of rising trends as the Suaeda Oil supplement increased. The levels of TC, TG and HDL was improved obviously in4%and6%groups compared to the control group(P<0.05), while2%group was not influenced significant(P>0.05); The level of blood sugar among the four treatments was no significant difference (P>0.05),4%treatment was higher0.1mmol-L-1than CK,2%and6%Suaeda Oil reduced the blood sugar concentration slightly(P>0.05).
