Test1:Simulating the growth pattern of animals by using the growth curve was the hotspot in current research. On the basis of determination of the body weight and body slope length of Dagu chickens at the age of0~42weeks, the growth curve models of Logistic and Gompertz were employed to fit the two traits, respectively. The result showed that both models’ fitting degree were high (R2>0.990), of which Logistic curve fit the growth law of body weight better (R2=0.992), Gompertz model better fit the other one (R2=0.998). The growth curve of body weight of Dagu hen appears S type, and the body slope length is earlier to approach the top point of growth than the body weight. The correlation between body weight and body slope length in the same week age was very significant (P<0.01). This result will provide the reference for analyzing the growth and development characteristics of the two traits and guiding an early selection for the traits of growth and development in breeding of a new strain of Dagu chicken.Test2:PPP3CA gene was subunit of catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase3, belonging to serine/threonine-specific phosphatase, little research being on the gene at home and abroad currently, and mainly in its structure, function, but on the chicken had not been reported. It was the first use of Dagu chicken as the object of study, a partial sequence of PPP3CA was genotyped, sequenAB and analysis associated with meat quality traits by PCR-SSCP,so as to develop molecular markers closely related to meat quality traits, provide a reference for Dagu chicken breeding objectives to the meat direction. The results showed that:compared with the NCB1GenBank, there were two mutations in chicken PPP3CA gene product of amplification primers cA2, analysis on meat quality traits of Dagu chicken were associated with mutation points state and found the The difference between water locking rate, the rate of leg muscle cooked meat, thoracic leg muscle PH value, the pectoral ash content and AA genotype was significant (P<0.05), to cock only48h drip loss was significantly affected (P<0.05), suggesting that genotype may be used as the candidate type to screen of the excellent meat quality traits.Test3:Changes in the relative activity of protein kinase and protein phosphatase protein phosphatase was coordinated to dephosphorylated the target protein in the tissue cells, while the body life activities almost entirely dependented on the coordination of chemical modification of signaling proteins reversible phosphorylation to regulate. There is no reporting on the relation on PPP3CA genes and egg production traits, indirectly regulated ovarian peripheral generation by VEGF and other signaling pathways, the study presumed that laying performance and PPP3CA polymorphism may be associated with each other. Therefore, by using PCR-SSCP technique to sub-type (AA, AB and BB) and analysis associated with egg production traits, results showed that:the sub-type in line with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, compared with the other two type, AB type had a significant effect on egg production of220,280day-old Dagu chicken (P<0.05), especially the300-day-old egg production was significantly higher than that of BB genotype (P<0.01), and the AB-type300day-age chickens’body weight was significantly higher than BB genotype (P<0.05). This prompted the AB type can be used as the preferred type of screening high laying performance of chickens.
