Study On Planning And Design Of Urban Road Landscape

Landscape of Urban Road in the city is an important part of the urban green spacesystem.It can not only organize the road traffic,reduce traffic noise and provide urbanrefuge but also it can protect the urban ecological environment, reflect the urban culture,beautify the landscape of urban space, so the urban road landscape has been paid more andmore attention from people.According to the references of the road landscape at home and abroad, the concept ofroad design and road landscape theory have been studied. First of all, this paper illustratesthis research’s background, purpose, content, methords and significance. Secondly, itdiscusses the basic concepts of the road landscape and the theory of urban road landscapedesign, which includs three-element theory, ecological theory, green way concept,Thesetheories are the road landscape’s theoretical basis. Then it describes the ecologicalfunctions, landscape functions and the evaluation of the road landscape in detail. Finally,The paper takes the green space landscape of GanJiang Road in SuZhou as study object,the paper put fordword that the road landscape should be managed and renewed in time,only in that case, we can creat a comfortable and civilized road system. Hoping that thepaper provides some advice for the other road’s construction in SuZhou.
