According to the characteristics of bulk curing, in order to put forward scientifically maturely and stable process of bulk curing that is referenced for tobacco technicians. In2010and2011, at the curing workshop of Waitoushan in the Yimen of Yunnan. Four experiments were conducted, they were experiment of loading density in bulk curing barn and experiment of heating rate during leaf-drying stage in bulk-curing barn and experiment of humidity of key temperatures during bulk curing process and experiment of stable time of key temperatures during bulk curing process. The results were as follows.1) experiment of loading density in bulk curing barn:in a certain range, With the increment of loading density, the coal consumption and the consumption per kilogram dry tobacco is reduced, but tobacco quality is not increased. The exponential sum of appearance quality of tobacco is the biggest, when the loading density is4000kilogram per bulk-curing barn, and the appearance quality of tobacco is the best. Though we studied the ratio of sugar and nicotine, nicotine and nitrogen, potassium and chlorine and shmuck value in flue-cured tobacco leaves, the internal chemical quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves is best. Our results also showed that full mature tobacco leaves contained high sugar and suitable total nitrogen, nicotine and chemical proportions, with rich and high quality of aroma. The offensive odor and biting taste was low.2) experiment of heating rate during leaf-drying stage in bulk-curing barn:the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was increased significantly, when the heating rate during leaf-drying stage was low in bulk-curing barn, and the content of aroma components was also increased. In the process of42~47℃and47~54℃, the temperature rising rate is1℃/2h. The color and structure and oil content and chromaticity of flue-curing leaves is all best, with rich and high quality of aroma.3) experiment of humidity of key temperatures during bulk curing process:the flue-cured tobacco leaves of the treatment of C3owned the best appearance quality and the worst smoking quality in the three treatment. And the appearance quality of C1is extremely different with C2and C3. As a result, it is concluded that the chemical constituents and appearance quality and smoking quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves of the treatment of C2were best.4) experiment of stable time of key temperatures during bulk curing process:during bulk curing process, the key temperatures of42℃and54℃maintained12hours. The flue-cured tobacco leaves would be best in the appearance quality and smoking quality. Also proper stable time of key temperatures could increase ratio of flue-cured tobacco leaves, and improve coordination of chemical components and volatile Aromatic Materials.
