Research On The Plant Configuration In The University Campus In Huhhot

Basing.on the theories of botany garden dendrology, forest ecology, landscape aesthetics, landscape ecology, the author carry out a research on the plants of different functional areas in the university campus which of Inner Mongolia University and its south section, Inner normal Mongolia University and its ShengLe section, and the east and west section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.According to the functional areas, the university campus is divided into four main parts:school gate area, teaching area, dormitory area and playground area. The author counts up the plant species, quantity, growing conditio and calculates the proportion of plant structure, diversity index, richness degree and ornamental characteristics.Each functional areas has37kinds of tree species, among which there are25kinds of arbor (including6kinds of ever green trees and19kinds of deciduous shrubs),12kinds of shrubs (4kinds of ever green shrubs,8kinds of deciduous shrubs). There are21kinds of species in Inner Mongolia University, among them12kinds of arbor (7kind of ever green shrubs and5kind of deciduous shrubs), has9kinds of shrubs (1kind of ever green arbor and8kinds deciduous shrubs). There are26kinds of tree species in the southern section of Inner Mongolia University, among which there are14kinds of arbor (6kinds of evergreen arbor and8kinds of deciduous shrubs).Inner Normal Mongolia University has22kinds of species, among them there are14kind of arbor (5kinds of evergreen arbor and9kinds of deciduous shrubs), and8kinds of shrubs (3kinds of evergreen shrubs and5kinds of deciduous shrubs). There are21kinds of species in the ShengLe section, which there are14kinds of arbor(6kinds of ever green arbor and8kinds of deciduous shrubs species)7kinds of shrubs(lkind of ever green shrubs,6kinds of deciduous shrubs). There are20kinds of species in the east section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, there are12kinds of arbor(5kinds of evergreen arbor,7kinds of deciduous shrubs),8kinds of shrubs(3kinds of evergreen shrubs and5kinds of deciduous shrubs). There are26kinds of species in the west section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, there are14kinds of arbor (6kinds of ever green arbor and8kinds of deciduous shrubs),12kinds of shrubs (1kinds of evergreen shrub and11kinds of deciduous shrubs).The proportion of arbor and shrub achieves1:1.5at the gate area, the diversity index of plant is the highest in Inner Mongolia University, which has2.0750.The richness index of plant is the highest in Inner Mongolia University, which has1.6371. The proportion of arbor and shrub is the best in the south section of Inner Mongolia University, which has1:1.2. The highest diversity index and richness index belongs to the east section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, which respectively are2.1615and1.8474. The proportion of arbor and shrub is1:2.2in dormitory area. The highest diversity index and richness index are in the west section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, which are respectively2.7695and2.0863.The playground area has less green land on which arbor takes main places in which the diversity index and richness index are the highest in the west section of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, which respectively has1.6405and1.7255.
