Eremochloa ophiuroides as a kind of excellent warm-season turfgrass, has been popularized and applied widely in the south of China, but because of its short green period, become the main limiting factors of promotion..Because of the autumn and winter low temperature in Hunan province,chlorophyll and growth-related material synthesis slows down.Through foliar fertilization can affect the metabolic processes of synthesis, conversion of substances in the body, increase the content of cold-resistant substances in the body, so as to achieve the purpose of extend the green period. But to extend the lawn green period by different fertilizer and plant growth regulators, must pay attention to the time of application. If the processing time is too early, there will not be much effect.Due to lawn metabolism slows down, if the processing time is too late, will limit its absorption, transformation and utilization.The green period observation test on the wild Eremochloa ophiuroides, that were collected from Hunan in different habitats conditions, from November2010to April2O12.Filter out the longest green period of Eremochloa ophiuroides E5. For lawn production practices provide an excellent material.Then take E5as the object of study, experimental research has taken the combination of plot experiments and laboratory analysis. The plot experiment adopt double factor completely randomized block experimental design, with KNO3and6-BA as the processing factors.KNO3sets3-levels:K4(4g/L), K8(8g/L), K12(12g/L).6-BA sets3-levels:B5(5mg/L), B10(10mg/L), B15(15mg/L). Two factors cross grouping,with a completely blank control group CK,there be10treatments, each treatment had3replicates.From September25,2012to November15, Eremochloa ophiuroides were treated with different concentration of KNO3, then treated with different concentration of6-BA, every ten days. A total of six times to do processing. Eremochloa ophiuroides leaves were collected randomly from each plot every ten days, from September20to November20.Different treatments on Eremochloa ophiuroides leaves chlorophyll content, anthocyanin content, soluble sugar content and other physiological indicators were measured in the natural temperature. And the influence of different treatment on Eremochloa ophiuroides winter withered duration. The results showed that:1.The best variety of the Eremochloa ophiuroides in germplasm nursery is E5, which is from Fanshenyuan village Dingzi town Wangcheng country Changsha Hunan province.2.To increase the content of chlorophyll and slow the anthocyanin formation of Eremochloa ophiuroides, the best method of treatment effect is that, from September25, spraying three times12g/LKNO3,then spraying three times10mg/L6-BA.Through six times treatment, compared with CK, can make chlorophyll mid reducing rate decreased by7.11%, to make the anthocyanin in the growth rate reduced by6.46%;3.To increase the content of soluble sugar of Eremochloa ophiuroides, the best method of treatment effect is that, from September25, spraying three times8g/LKNO3,then spraying three times10mg/L6-BA.Through six times treatment, compared with CK, can make the soluble sugar content in the growth rate increased by5.13%;4.From September to November,dealing with three different gradient of concentration KNO3, and then spraying three different gradient concentration of6-BA,can delay the senescence Eremochloa ophiuroides in Hunan Province.Them also can delay the withering period5-lld,the following year ahead of lawn1-4d turning green.One of the best way is dealing with three times8g/LKNO3,then spraying three times10mg/L6-BA.The green period of Eremochloa ophiuroides can up to286d,to extend15d than the control group.
