Research On The Applications Of Biotechnology In Agricultural Production And The Existing Problems In China

Modern agricultural biotechnology has showed enormous potentiality in improving the quality and outputs of Agricultural products, increasing the Economic benefits, relieving the Food shortages and protecting the Eco-environment ect. Which will play an important role in Modern Society continuously. The applications of Biotechnology in our country have also gotten a series of achievements, but there exist a great many problems needed to solve if we want to delvelop the Agricultural Biotechnology better and faster in China. This thesis makes a complete、systematic、comprehensive and in-depth research on Agricultural Biotechnology in our country, which based on the horizon of Scientific Technic Philosophy. We found lots of problems existing in our Agricultural Biotechnology ranging from strategic planning、system policies to the talents cultivation、capitial investment、technic research and its applications, based on fully mastering the basic situations of Agricultural Biotechnology in China and with comparis to the developing actualities of Agricultural Biotechnology in West Developed countries. It goes further to put forward some proposals and countermeasures. The article is devided into four sections:Part one:Biotechnology and its important significances in Modem Agricultural production. First of all, Summarize the Biotechnology and its basic contents completely. The second. Inspect the important senses of Biotechnology in Modern Agticultural production mainly from three sides:Improving the quality and outputs of Agricultural products, along with increasing the Economic benefits.Part two:Basic situations of Biotechnology applications in the current Agricultural production of our country. This section mainly focuses on summarizing the Biotechnology applications in our current Agricultural production from two sides:The basic situations of Biotechnology applications in Crop farming and Aquaculture.Part three:Existent problems in the Biotechnology applications of Agricultural production in China. There exist four problems in our Agricultural Biotechnology, based on fully mastering the basic situations of Agricultural Biotechnology in the current and with comparis to the developing actualities of Agricultural Biotechnology in West Developed countries:First, related systems and laws are not consummate; Second, lack in talents and capital investment; Third, problems existing in the Biotechnology research; Fourth, problems leaded by Biotechnology applications.Part four:Measures should be taken to improve the applications of Biotechnology in our Agricultural production. We put forward the following proposals and countermeasures directed against the problems presented in the Third Part:First, improve、perfect the related systems and laws; Second, to increase the talents cultivation and capital investment; Third, to strengthen the research of Agricultural Biotechnology; Fourth, take measures to avoid the negative influences leaded by Biotechnology applications.
