Chinese sugar output ranks third in the world, but the mechanized harvesting level of suagarcane which is the main raw mateial of sugar is only0.07%. The development of the sugarcane harvest mechanization bring about decrease in cost of production and improve the income of sugarcane grower, so it become the primary task of our country’s sugarcane production. The sugarcane leaf-stripping device is the critical component of sugarcane combine harvester which exists problems of high impurity rate and low life of stripping element.Aimming at the current problems of the centrifuge-percussive leaf-stripping device, this paper designs rotate speed-controlled sugarcane leaf-stripping testing device. The device contains nput/output roller, the first-level stripping roller, the second-level stripping roller, and each of them was independent, powered by three electrical machine. The rotate speed of the upper roller and the bottom roller is equal and the veer is opposite. There are torque transducers fixed on the axle of the input roller and the second-level stripping roller, and it can collect the date of the rotate speed and torque in real time. The software calculate the power and save the dates. The stripping element employ the form of brush which can optimize the stress of the sugarcane. The leaf-stripping element is critical component in the whole-stalk sugarcaen leaf-stripping equipment. It endure a complex force, so the preferable strength, tenacity, impact resistance, rub resistance were demanded for the element. Daicel, PP, High strength nylon were selected as the leaf-stripping element and used to make a contrast test under the same workload and the same working parameter. The test consider the stripping rate, impurity rate, and the losing degree of the element as indicators, and reach a conclusion that the High strength nylon was suitable for the leaf-stripping element. This provide the basis for the choice of the leaf-stripping element which has a excellent mechanical property. This papaer conduct the orthogonal experiment which takes the impurtity and stripping rate as indexes, and the sugarcane was fed from the root segment. Synthesizes the stripping quality and the power dissipation, we choose the optimal parameter combination which is:the rotate speed of the input/output roller is254r/min. the first stripping roller is1152r/min, and the second stripping roller is2304r/min. The impurity at this parameter is3.1%, the stripping rate is84.7%, and the power is3.93kW. Because the whole-stalk sugarcane combine harvester has a pretreatment to the tip before reaping and stripping, we carry out an experiment afer mannually removing the tip which conclude that the optimal parameters are that the rotate speed of input/output roller is250r/min, the first stripping roller and the second stripping roller are the same as1152r/min, and the power is1.93kW. The experiments prove that the apparatus obtain perferable effect in the case of that the sugarcane was fed from the root segment. This provide the theoretical foundation and date support for the optimal design of the leaf-stripping device in whole-stalk sugarcane combine. This paper proposes the reverse-strip in which the sugarcane was fed from the tail. The optimize parameter for inversion is that the rotate speed of the input/output roller is254r/min, the first stripping roller and the second stripping roller are the same as1152r/min, and the power is1.8kW. The stripping rate and impurity rate are98.1%and0.7%. This experiment provides a certain theoretical basis for the study of the leaf-stripping machine, and also provides references and theoretical basis for the explore of the technological process of the whole-stalk sugarcane combine which adopt the tail-fed way.
