| Objective To observe neuropsychological test and to analyze18F-FDG PETfigures in patients with Parkinson disease dementia. Methods (1) Mini-Mental State Examination and Montreal CognitiveAssessment were performed in12healthy controls,12patients with Parkinsondisease and12patients with Parkinson disease dementia. The results were analyzedbetween groups.(2)12patients with Parkinson disease and12patients withParkinson disease dementia were performed PET-CT and analyzed between groups. Results (1) MMSE score in PDD group was lower than it was in AN group, especially in the following aspects: orientation, attention, computationalcapabilities, long-term memory, repeats, reading,3-step command, expressionand drawing. The results were statistically significant different (P<0.05). MoCAscore in PDD group was also lower than it was in AN group, especially in thefollowing aspects: visuospatial skills, execution function, attention, language skills, abstract thought, long-term memory and orientation. The results were statisticallysignificant different (P<0.05).(2)18F-FDG PET cerebral metabolism visualization:The cerebral metabolism visualization in cerebrum in PDND group was asymmetryslight lower than it was in standard controls. The cerebral metabolism visualization incerebrum in PDD group was asymmetry significant lower than it was in standardcontrols. Conclusions More impaired cognitive domains were observed in PDD group, especially visuospatial skills, executing skills, attention, language skills, abstractthought, long-term memory and orientation.18F-FDG PET may provide helpfulevidence for PDD diagnosis. |
