ObjectiveObjective To analyze the clinical data of 60 patients with alcoholic liver disease (ALD) with hepatitis virus B (HBV) infection in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University in recent 5 years, and to study the clinical characteristics and risk factors, so as to improve public awareness of ALD with HBV infection and pay more attention to healthy habits including abstinence.MethodsPatient group including 60 patients with ALD with HBV infection, compared with 100 patients with simple ALD and 100 patients with simple HBV infection. To analyze history of alcohol intake, clinical manifestations, clinical laboratory index and imaging findings, at the same time, analyze the decline of liver function index before and after treatment, the severity of disease and treatment effect difference significance were be compared. To evaluate the relevant factors of alcoholic liver disease with HBV infection by means of Logistic Regression Analysis and the impact of smoking on the development of the disease.Results1. The clinical laboratory indexes in ALD with HBV infection group were significantly higher compared with the simple ALD group and the simple HBV infection group;2. After 4 weeks treatment, decline in those clinical laboratory indexes of ALD with HBV infection group was significantly lower than the simple ALD group and the simple HBV infection group.3. By means of Logistic Regression Analysis, the odds ratio (OR) was the quantity of addicted to daily drinking (OR= 3.377), duration of drinking (OR= 2.212), HBV-DNA quantitative (OR=1.665), smoking (OR= 1.336), age (OR= 1.269); smoking could aggravate liver injury of the merge group, with the smoking index increasing, the liver injury would be severer.ConclusionHBV infection may worsen the ALD patients condition and may increase the hospitalization days. Many risk factors(daily drinking, the duration of drinking, HBV-DNA quantitative, smoking, age) will influence the condition of the disease; therefore develop good lifestyle for ALD patients with HBV infection through abstinence is an important and positive measure for prevention of liver dysfunction increased and improvement of treatment effect and prognosis.
