Objective:To study the correlation between plasma homocysteine (Hey) and coronary heart disease (CHD);To explore the relationship between the traditional risk factors and Hey.Methods:69CHD patients, hospitalization in the second affiliated hospital Zhejiang university college of medicine, chosen from January2011to December2011classified into3groups, including27cases of acute myocardial infarction (AMI),25cases of unstable angina (UAP),17cases of stable angina (SAP) and control group consisted of32healthy people; The level of Hey was measured.Person correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the levels of Hey.Results:The levels of Hey were significantly higher in AMI, UAP and SAP groups than those in control group (P<0.05).Compared with SAP group, the levels Hey were increased in AMI and UAP groups(P<0.05).Compared with traditional risk factors of CHD,Hcy is ranked after sex (P<0.05). Conclusions:Hey is one of the risk factors for CHD,detection of blood Hey has the clinical value on the prevention and treatment of CHD.
