A Clinical Observation Of Treating Damp-heat Pouring Downward Syndrome Chronic Prostatitis With Jia Wei Long Dan Xie Gan Decoction

ObjectivesExplore the clinical value of treating damp-heat pouring downward syndrome chronic prostatitis with Jia Wei Long Dan Xie Gan decoction, through the improvement of clinical symptoms and indicators of prostatic fluid.MethodsCases come from March in2011to April in2012in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital of outpatient urology. The total patients are40cases. The age is from24years old to37years old, the average age is28.8years old. By the principle of randomization, divided the40cases into treatment group and control group by randomized and controlled,20cases in each group. The independent sample t test of tow groups on age, clinical symptoms, laboratory were:P>0.05. They had comparable. The first group is oral traditional Chinese medicine; The second group is oral Moxifloxacin and Terazosin.1) Treatment group:Long Dan Xie Gan decoction treatment:Gentian lOg, Gardenia lOg, Scutellaria6g, Bupleurum lOg, Rehmannia glutinosa log, Plantain seed lOg, Alisma lOg, Akebia lOg, Licorice root lOg.Chinese Angelica5g. Water decoction, one agent/day, fifteen general for a course.2) Control group:the moxifloxacin0.4g,1day, orally; terazosin2mg once daily, orally. The treatment lasted four weeks, the end of treatment effects were evaluated.ResultsOn the improvement of symptoms, comparison of the (TCM) group before and after treatment by t test, P<0.05, significant difference between before treatment and after treatment, indicating that the treatment is effective. Comparison of the (WM) group before and after treatment, by t test, P<0.05, significant difference between before treatment and after treatment, indicating that the treatment is effective.To quantify the difference between the scores of clinical symptoms before and after treatment by t-test, P<0.05, significant difference between the tow groups, indicating that in clinical symptoms (TCM) group is more effective than (WM) group.Conclusion1)In improving symptoms, decoction of Long Dan Xie Gan would have a demonstrable effect in a course of treatment.2)Using moxifloxacin and terazosin alone, the clinical symptoms of patients had improvement, but less effective than the (TCM) group.3) On the treatment of damp-heat pouring downward syndrome prostatitis, the (TCM) group, decoction of Long Dan Xie Gan treatment, is more effective than the (WM) group. Through this clinical observation, we can summary that the use of clearing heat and promoting urination method for the patients with damp-heat pouring downward syndrome prostatitis is curative effect, providing a reference for clinical application.
