Research On Correlation Among Tcm Syndrome, Hyperlipidemia Types And Chinese Constitution Types Of Hyperlipidemia

Objective:The purpose of this study is to expose the correlation of TCM Syndrome, hyperlipidemia types and Chinese Constitution Types of Hyperlipidemia, with a view to provide new ideas for the syndrome differentitation, to promote the clinical diagosis and treatment of hyperlipidemia.Methods:1. To apply the TCM questionnaire and constitutional Chinese Medicine Questio-Nnaire(CCMQ) to survey. Carrying out examinations on Cholesterol (TC),Trigly-ceride(TG),High Density lipoprotein(HDL-C),Low Density Lipoprotein(LDL-C).Selecting 140 patients of Hyperlipidemia of Dyslipi-demiain Nanning area, Guangxi, and divide them into six different groups: phlegm-stagnation-syndrome,spleen-kidney-yang-deficiency-syndrome, liver-kidey-yin-deficiency-syndrome,yin-deficiency-yang-supfluity-syndrome,qi and blood-stagnation -syndrome, "no dialectic syndrome". And then,judging the constitutional type of TCM accorded to CCMQ.2. Exposing the relations about syndrome types, lipid types and constitutional types of TCM,following the statistical method in Medical Research.Results:1.There is a difference between the gender and age groups (P<0.05).2.There is no difference between male and female patients in TC、TG、LDL-C (P>0.05), and there is a difference in HDL-C (P<0.05). The difference of TC、TG,、LDL-C、HDL-C in different age groups has no significance (P>0.05).3. There is no significant difference of TCM Syndrome, gender,age groups and hyperlipidemia types (P>0.05).4. By X2-test, the difference between male and Normal constitution people, male and Damp-hotness constitution people, female and blood stasisness constitution people is significance. The difference between hyperlipidemia types and Chinese Constitution Types has no significant difference. The correlation between TCM Syndrome and Chinese Constitution Types is not clear.Conclusion:1. Hyperlipidemia are common in the age 54 to 64 years old woman. HDL-C of female patients lower than male’s.2. Hyperlipidemia is deficiency-excess complex syndrome. There is no correlation among the TCM syndrome,gender, age groups and hyperlipidemia types.3. The morbidity of normal,dampness-heat Chinese constitution in men is higher than the women, but on the contrary of the blood stasis constitution in women.4. The phlegm-dampness constitution tend to become phlem-stangation-Syndrome, and yang-deficiency to spleen-kidney-yang-deficiency-syndrome, the yin-deficiency to liver-kidney-yin-deficiency-syndrome, the blood-stasis and qi-depression to qi and blood-stagnation-syndrome, the qi-deficiency and phlegm-dampness are likely to "no dialectic syndrome".
