120 Cases Of Chronic Nasal-sinusitis After Endoscopic Sinus Surgery And Follow-up Study Of Quality Of Life

Objective To investigate the chronic nose - sinusitis after endoscopic sinussurgery and regular follow-up of the clinical significance of endoscopic sinussurgery for chronic nasal - sinusitis symptom improvement and quality of life impact.Method December 2009-September2010received in our department betweenendoscopic sinussurgery for chronic nasal - 120 patients with sinusitis, according tochronic nose - sinusitisdiagnosis and treatment guidelines in 2008 Nanchang standardclinical group, divided into chronic nose - not associated with sinusitis and chronicnasal polyps - sinusitis associated with nasal polyp groups were 60 cases. Two groupsof patients were on regular follow-up dressing for one year, a comparative analysis ofthe postoperative follow-up treatment. Second, evaluate all patients before and after1,3,6 and 12 months, the main symptom status and quality of life improvement, morepatients with major symptoms and quality of life changes. Results Of 60 patientswithout nasal polyps, 6 months cured 36 cases, 20 cases improved, 4 cases invalid; 12months cured 50 patients, 7 cases improved, 3 cases invalid. Group of 60 patientswith nasal polyps, 6 months 30 cases recovered, improved in 27 cases, 3 casesinvalid .12 months cured 37 cases, 20 cases improved, 3 cases invalid. Two groupswas statistically significant difference between disease outcome. 120 cases receivedendoscopic sinus surgery for chronic nasal - sinusitis patients 1,3,6,12 months afterthe first major symptom score decreased, compared with before surgery weresignificantly lower (P <0.01); Compared with the preoperative, 20 items and fiveitems rated from 1 month after began to decline (P <0.01). Conclusion Endoscopicsinus surgery for regular follow-up dressing the law can significantly improvesurgical treatment, endoscopic sinus surgery can make the chronic nose - sinusitispatients have symptoms and quality of life improved significantly.
