Objective To:explore the role of IL-17and IL-27in the mechanism of allergic rhinitisand clinical significance. Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria (2009,Wuyi moutain) of Rhinologygroup of the Chinese Medical Association of Otolaryngology Head and NeckSurgery Branch,64cases of allergic rhinitis patients were divided intopersistent mild and moderate-severe group, noraml control group of16caseswas established. Between the two groups there was no significant difference inage and gender. The protein level of IL-17and IL-27in Serum of normalcontrol and allergic rhinitis were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay (ELISA) and their correlation with the severity of disease was analyzed. The results were statistically analyzed by SPSS16.0software.Results:Compared with the control group, the protein levels of IL-17in persistentAR serum had significantly increased(t=-5.654,P<0.01), the protein levels ofIL-27decreased(Z=-4.944,P<0.01), IL-27levels in control group, mildgroup, moderate to severe group between comparison, p value is respectivelyless than0.05. IL-17and IL-27in persistent AR with serum levels werenegatively correlated (r=-0.405, P=0.022).Conclusion1IL-17and IL-27play a role in the pathogenesis of AR.2IL-17promotes the occurrence of AR, IL-27may indirectly inhibit the occurrence of allergic rhinitis by inhibiting Th17from producing IL-17.3IL-27levels in the peripheral blood of patients with AR decreases withthe increase of disease severity of patients with AR.4Relative immune therapy may become a new target of AR clinicaltreatment. |
