The Effectors Of Shuang Bai San On Reliving Mild Pain In Patients With Primary Hepatic Carcinoma

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effects of external treatment of Shuang Bai San to the mild pain of primary hepatic carcinoma by pain score, quality of life, adverse reactions and other indicators, in order to find a safe and acceptant traditional Chinese medical of external treatment, as well as provide the basis for it.Methods:In the randomized, blind, prospective clinical research,140patients with mild pain of primary hepatic carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups:73in the treated groupand67in the control group. The therapeutic effects in the change of NRS, improving quality of life(QOL), and the rate of satisfaction the patients felt of the two groups were compared respectively.Results:the statistical difference was significant in the change of NRS (P<0.05) between the treated and control group, the maximal pain rel ief about one hour after the treatment. The two groups had significant difference (P<0.05). the downward trends of NRS score in the two groups were different, and the scores of the treatment group were always lower than the control group, which suggested that Shuangbai San had a persistent effect on relieving pain.There was a significant difference(P<0.05) between the two groups in reducing pain time and increasing the sleep time.the statistical difference was significant in the rate of pain relief(P<0.05) between the treated and control group.After the treatment, the result in the quality of life showed that patients in the treatment group had a more significant improvement in physical function, psychological function and symptoms (including fatigue,cancer pain, abdominal distension and the change of nutrition) than in the control group. The treatmen t showed better effect on the satisfactory rate, there was significant difference statistically between the two groups(P<0.05). The scores of the two groups in social function had insignificant difference (P>0.05),which suggested that the improvement in the treatment group in social function was not obvious.After the treatment, there was no side effect on hematopoietic system hepatic and renal funtion. The two groups had no statistical difference in the rete of adverse reactions.Conclusion:As a safe and effective treatment to the mild pain of primary hepatic carcinoma, Shuang Bai San has many advantages, such as high effects, safe and convenient, It also can improve the quality of life of the patients and regulate their psychological state by reliving pain. So it can make the patients satisfactory with the treatment.
