| [Background]:Patients who were changed dressings usually experienced pain which induced by changing dressings. It has been proved that untreated pain will cause short term and long term impact to patients, even some of them refused to change dressings. In clinical it is rare to use medical interventions to decrease pain in patients. As a result, it is very important to find out useful interventions to decrease pain. It has been proved that topical anesthesia can decrease pain in patients which caused by debridement in foreign countries, while there are few in china.[Objectives]:To explore the effect of superficial anesthesia with lidocaine on patients who experienced machine debridement.[Methods]:A prospective randomized controlled design was employed.A convenient sample of64adults from a hospital in Nanjing undergoing incision and drainage on wound were enrolled. They were randomized into two groups, there are5adults dropped during the research, at last59adults completed the research. Before the first time of changing dressings, adults in group A were given topical anesthesia with2%Lidocaine for3minutes, adults in group B were given topical anesthesia with0.9%Nacl for3minutes. Before the second time of changing dressings, adults in group A were given topical anesthesia with0.9%Nacl for3minutes, adults in group B were given topical anesthesia with2%Lidocaine for3minutes. Nurses measure adults’pain with NRS and VAS, Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation(SaO2),Blood Press(BP) before the debridement, during the debridement and after the debridement for5minutes; the frequency of protective movement of body during the debridement.[Results]:(1) The scores of NRS were significantly lower in patients who were given topical anesthesia with0.2%lidocaine than with0.9%Nacl no matter during or after the the course of debridement (P<0.05).(2)The HR were significantly lower in patients who were given topical anesthesia with0.2%lidocaine than with0.9%Nacl no matter during or after the the course of debridement (P<0.05).(3) The SaO2were significantly higher in patients who were given topical anesthesia with0.2%lidocaine than with0.9%Nacl no matter during or after the the course of debridement (P<0.05).(4)The Bp were significantly lower in patients who were given topical anesthesia with0.2%lidocaine than with0.9%Nacl no matter during or after the the course of debridement (P<0.05).(5) The frequency of protective movement of body were significant lower in patients who were given anesthesia with0.2%lidocaine than with0.9%Nacl during the debridement (P<0.05).[Conclusions]:Compared with0.9%Nacl, topical anesthesia with Lidocaine can reduce patients’pain, increase patients’Oxygen Saturation(SaO2),reduce patients’ Heart Rate both during the course of debridement and after the debridement for5minutes, at the same time, it may also decrease the frequency of protective body movement. |
