Objective:By observing the efficacy of acupuncture with different time intervals in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, discuss the relevance of the acupuncture interval time with the acupuncture effect of peripheral facial paralysis, identify better clinical acupuncture frequency of peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:60cases met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into3times a week group and6times a week group, the two groups were both treated with ordinary acupuncture, On H-B subscale and FDI subscale testing on patients before treatment and after four courses respectively. Observe the influence on efficacy of acupuncture with different time intervals in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Results:(1) After four courses of treatment, comparison of the efficacy indicators of two groups before and after treatment were significant differences (P<0.01), which indicated that the treatment methods of two groups both can improve the patient’s facial nerve function.(2) After treatment, comparison of the efficacy indicators of two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05), which indicated that the two groups no significant difference in improving the patient’s facial nerve function.(3) The total effective rate of3times a week group and6times a week group were82.76%and86.67%respectively, which have no differences statistically significant(P>0.05), suggesting that the efficacy of two groups did not differ significantly.Conclusions:1. Acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is effective, the two different intervals acupuncture treatment both can be significantly improved the patient’s facial nerve function and the patient’s physical and social function, which suggested that acupuncture not only reduce the facial paralysis symptoms but also improve the body’s overall health status.2.
