| Objective: To detect PTEN and Notch1in colorectal cancer tissue and normal tissuedifferences of PTEN and Notch1in colorectal cancer occurrence and development ofthe role and mechanisms of the relationship between the two, for early detection andclinical treatment of colorectal cancer provide a theoretical basis.Method:1. Immunohistochemistry staining detected60cases of colorectal cancer and30cases of adjacent non-tumor tissues PTEN and Notch1protein expression, whileanalysis of its relationship with clinicopathological parameters and the two related.Results:1. The positive expression rate of PTEN protein was58.3%(35/60) in60casesof colorectal carcinoma, the positive expression rate of PTEN protein in30cases ofadjacent noncancerous tissues was96.7%(29/30), there is significant differencebetween the two groups (P<0.05). In colorectal cancer tissues, the expression of PTENprotein doesn’t have significant differences with sex, age and tumor location (P>0.05),However, with the degree of differentiation, Dukes of clinical stages, serosal invasionand lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).2. The positive expression rate of Notch1protein was45.0%(27/60) in60cases ofcolorectal carcinoma, the positive expression rate of Notch1protein in30cases ofadjacent noncancerous tissues was6.7%(2/30), the difference obviously (P<0.05). Incolorectal cancer tissues, the expression of Notch1protein doesn’t have significantdifferences with sex, age, tumor location(P>0.05), However, with the degree ofdifferentiation, Dukes of clinical stages, serosal invasion and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).3.60cases of colorectal carcinoma in the PTEN protein and Notch1protein expressionwas negatively correlated(r=-0.429, P<0.05).Conclusion: PTEN expression in colorectal cancer was significantly lower, and with thedegree of differentiation of colorectal cancer, Dukes of clinical stages, serosal invasionand lymph node metastasis significantly correlated; Notch1expression in colorectalcancer is significantly higher, and with the degree of differentiation of colorectal cancer,Dukes of clinical stages, serosal invasion and lymph node metastasis are also significantly correlated, and both a negative correlation between protein expression,indicating both with invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer have a closerelationship. PTEN and Notch1expression level of the joint test for the early detectionand clinical treatment of colorectal cancer provide a theoretical basis. |
