| Objective：To observe and compare treatment of humeral intercondylar fracture withthe two parallel steel plate and Y steel plate,and conclude treatment.Method：collect41cases with humeral intercondylar fracture in the orthopaedic wardof Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University from2007March to2011March. Two parallel steel group is22cases, and Y plate is19cases in themwho are accorded with the inclusion criteria. One year after all patients were followed upafter operation, to observe the curative effect of them with the HSS score standard ofelbow joint function evaluation.Results: two parallel steel plate and Y steel plate in treatment of humeralintercondylar fractures are a significant effect, the excellent and good rate achieverespectively81.8%and78.9%. Two parallel steel group with Y steel plate are comparedelbow joint function score with no significant statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion：the two methods of elbow joint function recovery was not significantlydifferent. But from the operation situation and the two plate shape design that Y plate ismore suitable for C1, C2type fracture, as the bifurcation angle is fixed, and position isfixed, so the intercondylar fracture blocks can not form strong pressure, and it is notsuitable for comminution severity of type C3fracture treatment; parallel plate is designedto match with internal and external humeral epicondylitis shape, and the comminuted boneblock is fixed firm.3types of fractures are applicable. |
