| Objective: To explore the effect of Chongloukegan dripping pill on URTI by animal’sexperiment.Method: To observe the antitussive,expectorant,antiasthma,diaphoresis, antipyretic andanti-inflammatory effects of dripping pills; meanwhile to study enterokinesia anddiuresis,at the same time to partly test mice’ blood serum hemolysin,lymphocytes’E-rosettes and phagocytes; to determine on4kinds of Gram positive and3kinds of Gramnegative bacteria by tube double dilution method and Oxford cup method.Results: The Chong-lou small dose could decrease the frequency of cough and prolongthe latent period of cough in mice. The Chong-lou large dose and medium dose also couldlengthen the asthma incubation period. The Chong-lou large dose could strengthenexpelling phlegm and watered in voix pedis of mice. It was not obvious in the two kinds ofexperiment of relieved fever. The smooth muscle of ileum could be enhanced by drippingpills.The Chong-lou large and medium dose could reinforce phagocytes action,while theChong-lou large could cellular immune function about mice. The hemolysin of bloodserum was decreased on all group of Chong-lou.The anti-inflammatory effect was notobserved by pettitoes swelling in rats,while auricle swelling in mice was refrained by theChong-lou large and medium dose. The Chong-lou small dose not only could refraininflammation of respiratory tract but also diuresis. Meanwhile it had depression effectagainst Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus and sh.flexneri aureus et cetera.Conclusion: Chong-lou can be obviously diaphoresis, inflammation, antitussive,antiasthma and expectorant, meanwhile it could potentiate the smooth muscle of ileum anddiuresis. Chong-lou might enhance non-specific immunity and cellular immunefunction.Also it was satisfactory with the antibacterial activity for Escherichia coli and soon. |
