| Objective: To observe therapeutic effect of Compound Danshen Dripping Pill, its influence on toxicity and coagulation function in treating advanced gastric cancer patients during chemotherapy. Methods: Fifty-nine patients with advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided to combination group(treated with FOLFOX6 regimen combined with Compound Danshen Dripping Pill, n=29) and chemotherapy group(treated only with FOLFOX6 regimen, n=30). Therapeutic effect and toxicity were observed. Quantitative detection 59 patients with advanced gastric cancer check-up of platelets(PLT) count, plasma prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), plasma fibrinogen(FIB) and d-dimer(DD) content and are compared and analyzed. Results: 1ã€The objective response rate(CR+PR) was 55.2% in combination group, compared to 46.7% in chemotherapy group(P>0.05), the clinical benefit response rate(CR+PR+SD) was 75.9% in combination group, compared to 50.0% in chemotherapy group(P<0.05). 2ã€The toxic reactions of chemotherapy were similar in combination group and chemotherapy group. But leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea in chemotherapy group were more serious than those in combination group(P<0.05). 3ã€â‘ In chemotherapy group the PT [(12.23±1.12)s vs(11.50 ± 0.96)s] and APTT [(29.45 ± 3.45)s vs(26.13 ± 3.50)s] before chemotherapy were longer than those after chemotherapy(P<0.05); In chemotherapy group the DD [(1.39±1.74)mg/l vs(4.78±2.81)mg/l] and FIB [(2.82±0.65)g/l vs(3.65±0.64)g/l] before chemotherapy were lower than those after chemotherapy(P<0.05). â‘¡In combination group the PT [(11.75±1.04)s vs(12.78±1.38)s] and APTT [(27.40±4.42)s vs(30.70±4.84)s] before chemotherapy were shorter than those after chemotherapy(P<0.05); In combination group the DD [(2.07±1.64)mg/l vs(1.00±1.22)mg/l] and FIB [(2.89±0.46)g/l vs(2.52±0.50)g/l] before chemotherapy were higher than those after chemotherapy(P < 0.05). â‘¢ Compared with Group chemotherapy, the level of PT, APTT, DD, FIB in Group combination significantlyincreased(P<0.05). â‘£On comparison before and after chemotherapy, there was no significant difference on PLT between combination group and chemotherapy group(P>0.05).Conclusion: Compound Danshen Dripping Pill can not improve the objective response rate, but it can improve the clinical benefit response rate with the chemotherapy of FOLFOX6; Compound Danshen Dripping Pill can alleviate the toxic reactions of chemotherapy; Hypercoagulable state could be increased with chemotherapy of FOLFOX6 in the patients with advanced gastric cancer, Compound Danshen Dripping Pill can relieve hypercoagulable state in advanced gastric cancer patients with the therapy of FOLFOX6. |
