The Experimental Study Of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction Therapy On Failed Back Surgery Syndrome

Objective: To study the effectiveness and mechanisms of Huangqi Guizhi WuwuDecoction on preventing post laminectomy fibrosis and adhesion and to prevent failedback surgery syndrome effect. Methods:95adult rats were divided randomly into fivegroup, each19. A group: Nacl group, B group: Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction group, Cgroup: Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction Plus invigorating the blood and removing bloodstasis Chinese Medicinal Herbs group, D group: Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction groupPlus resolving dampness Chinese medicine Herbs group, E group: Huangqi Guizhi WuwuDecoction Plus resolving dampness and activating blood circulation Chinese medicineHerbs. All the rats were established as the experimental models undergoing L1laminectomy with0.3cm×0.8cm dura mater exposed. All laminectomy levels were treatedwith relative medicine for four weeks: In the treatment of at least4,8,12weeks, eachgroup were sacrificed7. To take paragraph spine with Lawson standards to evaluateadhesion degree and detect the content of hydroxy proline of the animal epidural in thescar tissue, and the groups were compared. Results: Compared with A, content of generalobservation in group E group A degree of adhesion significantly increased in4,8,12weeks, a significant difference(P<0.05). Compared with A, content of hydroxy proline ofthe epidural in the scar tissue of B, C, D, E group were decreased within8、12weeks weresignificantly different(P<0.05); At the12th week，E group of hydroxy proline content notonly less than A group(P>0.05) and B,C,D groups also significantdifferences(P>0.05).Compared with the4th week, the content of hydroxy proline of theepidural in the scar tissue within8,12weeks were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusion: The drugs of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction could reduce scar formationand fibroblasts, lessen fibro scar and inhibit the formation of adhesion in rats.
