Zhi Tong Decoction On The Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia In The Type Of Qi And Blood Stagbation Clinical Observation

Ob j ective:The purpose of this topic is to observe the clinical effect of zhi tong decoction on treatment of postherpetic neuralgia in the type of qi and blood stagbation. By cpmpare the treatment group with the control group before and after treatment, we can evaluate the clinical effect of zhi tong decoction on treatment of postherpetic neuralgia and find the possibility of its clinical application.Methods:sixty patients who consistent with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine diagnosis of postherpetic neuralgia in the type of qi and blood stagbation were randomly divided into two groups.there are treatment group and control group(n=30). Treatment groups was given traditional zhi tong decoction at dose of300ml after the morning meal and dinner everyday. Control group were given corydalis dropping pills three times a day, and20to30pills at a time. After treatment for4weeks, we visited the patients three months. By use of VAS score, PPI scores and SF-MPQ score,we evaluated the effect of zhi tong decoction on treatment of postherpetic neuralgia in the type of qi and blood stagbation between the treatment group and the control group.Results:In treatment group, we found that fifteen cases were cured (the cure rate was50%), ten cases had obviously effect (the efficiency rate was of33.3%), two cases had effect (the efficiency rate was6.67%), three cases were invalid (Inefficiency rate was10%), total effective rate was90%. In control group, we found that eight cases were cured (the cure rate was26.67%), eight cases had obviously effect (the efficiency rate was of26.67%), eight cases had effect (the efficiency rate was26.67%), six cases were invalid (Inefficiency rate was20%), total effective rate was80%. By statistical analysis (P<0.05), there was significant, the effect of treatment group was much better than control group. VAS, PPI and SF-MPQ score of before and after treatment were significantly different (P<0.01).Conclusions:The effect of treatment group that was given zhi tong decoction was better than control group that was given corydalis dropping pills.The pain was alleviated in patients.
