Abstract/Summary:
Objective: The study aims to provide an objective correlation between the syndromesof TCM in stable stage of COPD and the BODE index, and find the point of integration ofTCM and modern medicine indicators of stable COPD.So we can try to achieve TCMquantify objective, and give full play to the advantages of Chinese medicine combating thedisease. Methods: We collected90cases of stable COPD patients met the inclusion criteria, and record patients’ gender, age, disease duration, smoking history and other general andbody mass index (BMI), pulmonary function, modified medical research council dyspneascale (MMRC),6minute walk distance (6MWD) and calculation of the BODE index score, then compile the relevant data for statistical analysis to explore the correlation betweendifferent TCM syndrome and the general situation of stable COPD, the BODE index. Results: The stable COPD of different TCM syndrome patients had an obvious differencebetween the BODE index indicators and the BODE index score (P <0.05). Conclusions:There is a certain relevance between the TCM syndrome of stable COPD patients and theBODE index. The BODE index can be used as the reference of stable COPD TCMsyndromes differentiation.
