Analysis On Professor Lu Shangling’s Herbal Administration Experience For Intermittent Headac By Using TCM Inheritance Support System(V1.1)

Objective: Using TCM inheritance support system（V1.1） to analyze the composingprinciples of the prescriptions given by Professor Lu Shangling for Intermittent Headache.Method: Collecting the prescriptions used for Intermittent Headache cases, then enter thedata into the TCM inheritance support system（V1.1）, by using principle analysis, revisedmutual information, complex system entropy cluster and unsupervised hierarchicalclustering to analyze composing principles. Results: Based on the analysis of116cases ofprescriptions, the frequency of each herb and association rules among herbs included in thedatabase are computed,29core combinations and8new prescriptions are mined from thedatabase. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of Prof. Lu Shangling’s clinical medication,the chief drugs used by Prof. Lu Shangling in Intermittent Headache treatment arediaphoretic herbs, tonic medicine herbs, heat-clearing herbs, herbs for invigorating bloodcirculation and eliminating stasis, suppressing hyperactive liver for calming endogenouswind berbs, and so on. These herbs not only have clinical advantages in shortening thecourse of disease and diminishing symptoms, but also are effective and safe.
