Discussion On Professor Wang Jiawei’s Experience Of Treating White Lesion Of Vulva By Traditional Chinese Medicine

Professor Wang Jiawei is now a gynecological Chief Physician of Wuhan hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and also Professor of gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine and supervisor of Master in Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has engaged in the clinical, teaching and research work for more than30years. She is good at treating all kinds of gynecological diseases by Traditional Chinese Medicine and has very rich experience of diagnosis and treatment.Objective:I am very privileged to study under Professor Zhang and learn a lot. So I write this paper to Summarize her experience of treating white lesion of vulva by her self-created Chinese herbal Reduce white lesion fumigation-washing Decoction and the academic point of view and clinical experiences. To inherit and carry forward the advantage of the treatment by Traditional Chinese medicine which takes good news to the patients.Methods:To summarize the academic point of view and clinical experiences of her treatment on white lesion of vulva. To collect the document literature of herbal medical books and famous doctors in all ages on the herbs that my teacher used in her self-created decoction and introduce related modern pharmacology study. It concluded the features and advantages in the treatment of her self-created Chinese herbal Reduce white lesion fumigation-washing Decoction.Results:White lesion of vulva refers to a group of chronic disease of the feminine vulva skin and in areas of mucosal tissue degeneration and pigment change. It clinical manifests pruritus vulvae, vulvar skin mucous membrane white, roughness, thickening chapping, ulcers, elastic decline, even size labia minora atrophy disappear, vaginal orifice narrow, sexual pain, sexual difficulties. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don’t have the name, but according to its symptoms and signs, it can be attributable to "pruritus vulvae","erosion of vulva","Pains of vulva". Dr Wang considered that the occurrence of the disease was related to the liver, spleen, kidney,Chong Channel, Conception Channel, Governor Channel, Belt Channel. The attacks, food and drinks, and not feeling a food festival, eating too much hot food, gentle disposition disorders and lifestyle behaviors abnormal may cause the disease. Dampness-heat flowed down to the vulva is probably the basic interpretation of the cause. On the treatment, according to clinical manifestations, we considered that the lesions are often appears on the vulva and systemic symptom is unclear. So we used the self-created Chinese herbal Reduce white lesion fumigation-washing Decoction which consists of the herbs named Huangbo, Kushen, Difuzi, Shechuangzi, Baixianpi, Tufuling, Danggui, Chuanxiong, Jinyinhua, Pugongying, Daqingye, Gancao. And we pay much attention to cultivate of life of the patients.Conclusion:Our self-created Chinese herbal Reduce white lesion fumigation-washing Decoction is the decoction of clearing dampness-heat, removing toxic substance, destroying parasites, dispelling wind, activating Qi, regulating blood. The decoction is reasonable rigorous-compatibility and work well. Thefumigation-washing way of the external therapy makes direct effect on the vulva, and help for drug penetration and absorption. It can efficiently prevent the side effects of the corticosteroids and the pains that surgical Intervention brings us. It is simply operated, economy applicable, and has no side effects, pains and its good effect are more likely to be accepted by the patients. So it has the extremely important clinical value.
