The Clinical Experience Summarization Of Professor Wang Xiu Xia In Treating White Lesions Of Vulva

Objectives:To sum up the clinical experience of Professor Wang Xiuxia in treating white lesions of vulva(WLV),and to observe the clinical effect of BAIBANYIHAO(BBYH)and interferon(INF)in treating WLV.Methods:Organized the academic theory, collected the valid prescription and elaborated the drugs'mechanism of Professor Wang Xiuxia in the treatment of WLV. At the same time,30 cases patients were collected to be treated by the BBYH and INF for the clinical observation.From the first day of treatment,all the patients took sitz bath with BBYH decoction, and then smeared on some recombinant human interferonα-2b(RHIFNα-2b) gel once a day,3 months totally. At the same time,RHIFNα-2b injection 3MU were given to the local lesions twice a week for 3 months. Discontinued all the other drugs which would effected the clinical study and stoped treatment during the menstrual periods.Finally, observed the changes of the vulva lesions area,the faded degree of vulva skin,the itch and pain degree and the Chinese medicine symptoms.Result:The mean of the Chinese medicine symptom was 4.57±1.89 before the treatment,while it was 2.13±0.78 after the treatment.There was significant difference between them(P<0.01).The effect of the Chinese medicine symptom was:10 cases were significant effective,17 cases were effectual and 3 cases were unfruitful with a total cure rate of 90%.Before the treatment,the mean of the vulva lesions area was 5.53±2.15,the vulva depigmentation area was 33.87±14.50,the degree of itch and pain was 3.50±1.23.After the treatment, they were 3.50±2.56,19.77±14.09,1.87±1.14 respectively.The difference of the scores of every symptom was significant before and after treatment(P<0.01).The integrated effect:13 cases were significant effective,13 cases were effectual and 3 cases were unfruitful with a total cure rate of 86.7%.No side effect was found during the course of treatment.Conclusion:①Professor Wang Xiuxia considered that the main pathogenesis of WLV was Deficiency of liver and kidney which led to meridian dystrophy, the other side was stagnation of the liver-qi and deficiency of the spleen which brought about damp-heat invasion.The WLV was divided into 2 types by traditional Chinese medicine,namely liver-kidney yin-deficiency syndrome and liver channel damp-heat Syndrome,and be treated by methods of combining traditionally Chinese and western medicinal way. These 2 types were given BBYH and BAIBANERHAO (BBEH)decoction for sitz bath respectively, both of which plus INF for local therapy.②The BBYH decoction and IFN had significant effect in treating WLV with liver-kidney deficiency syndrome. They could obviously relieve the clinical symptoms,promote the effective rate.
