Thlaspi arvense Linn, also called "da-ji","e-lan" vegetable, was the cruciferous plant in a family of dicotyledons, and it is widely edible in the southeast border Gansu province. Thlaspi arvense Linn has active effects on liver clearing, vision improving and diuresis for folk records, and can be used for treating nephritis and endometriosis. In this paper, we studied the water immersion extraction technology and the purification technology with macroporous resin of flavonoids which are active ingredients from Thlaspi arvense Linn herb as raw material.(1) Optimization of the water immersion extraction technology of flavonoids in Thlaspi arvense Linn herbSingle factor experiments (material liquid ratio, extraction time and extraction times) and the orthogonal experiment were successively carried out to optimize the water immersion extraction technology of flavonoids in Thlaspi arvense Linn herb. Results showed that the order of the factors was extraction times>soild-liquid ratio>extraction time. The optimum condition was adding16times amount of water, extracting3times and every time with4hours. Under this condition, the yield of flavonoids from Thlaspi arvense Linn herb was1.17%.(2) Static adsorption properties of the macroporous resin for flavonoids from Thlaspi arvense Linn herbTen types of macroporous resin were selected to compare their adsorbing and desorbing performances for flavonoids from Thlaspi arvense Linn herb, and3of them, namely HPD722, D101and AB-8resins showed good behaviors and were selected to investigate the static adsorption and desorption properties. And HPD722resin, which was better than the other2resins, showed that the equilibrium data were fitted to the Langmuir isotherm and Langmuir adsorption rate equation.(3) The dynamic adsorption and purification of flavonoids from Thlaspi arvense Linn herb with HPD722macroporous resinThrough the dynamic adsorption-desorption by single factor experiment of macroporous resin HPD722, the optimum adsorption-desorption condition was:the concentration of crude extract solution was3~4mg·mL-1, the adsorption flow rate was1.30mL·min-1, the pH value of solution was adjusted to4, the loading quantity of crude extract solution was30mL every time, eluted with40mL70%ethanol at the flow rate of3.47mL·min-1. After being treated by this technique, the purity of flavonoids can reach21.91%as the crude extract was5.09%.
