| Objective:To evaluate the effect and adverse reactions of combined chemotherapy and Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction in the treatment of medium or late stage none-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC); and to observe the effects of Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction on the expression of TK1in model mice.Methods:60patients with stageâ…¢a--â…£ NSCLC were divided randomly into group A and group B.In Group A,30patients were treated with chemotherapy combined with Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction. In Group B,30patients were treated with chemotherapy alone.The effect and adverse reactions of the two groups,including the changes of tumorsã€the main symptoms of NSCLC,quality of life,body weight,immunity and side-effect,were evaluated after one course of treatment; and the effects of Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction on zhe expression of TK1in model mice were observed.Results:The complete and partial remission rata(CR+PR) of Group (46.67%) was highter than Group B(30.00%),but hava no significant difference between them(P>0.05),The stable rate(CR+PR+SD) of Group A(86.67%) was higher than the Group B(60.00%),and have significant difference compart(P<0.05).The Group A had a better effect in the remission of symptoms such as cough,fever,fatigue, sweating at night than Group B(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between Group A and Group B in the remission of symptoms such as hemoptysis and Shortness of breath(P>0.05).The Karnofsky scores in Group A increase more than that Group B after a course of treatment(P<0.05).The two groups could increase the body weight of patients more or less,by comparison,Group A increase more than Group B(P<0.05).Moreover, Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction could increase the percentage of national kill cell(NKC) and LBT in Group A after treatment.Group A increase significantly the percentage of NKC and LBT than Group B after treatment(P<0.05).In Group A, CD4+ã€CD4+/CD8+and NKC increase significantly after treatment(P<0.05),and CD8+decrease had no significant difference(P>0.05).In Group B,CD4+ã€CD4+/CD8+and CD8+in T-lymohocyte subcategory were not significant(P>0.05);and NKC increase significant(P<0.05). Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction had no severe adverse reactions.The rate of adverse reactions in Group A were lower than that in Group B,especially in WBC,vomit,heart rate,hair,peripheral nerve and skin,there were significant diffierence(P<0.05),while in HGBã€PLTã€ASTã€ALTã€BUNã€CR, there were not significant diffierence(P>0.05). The experimental study suggests that Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction can obviousiy decrease the expression TK1in the peripheral biood, and inhibit the growth of tumor.Conclusions:The findings indicate that is safe and effective in the combined-modality therapy of lung cancer.lt could stabilize the tumor,alleviate the symploms of the medium or late NSCLC patients,improve the quality of life,increase the body weight,improve the immunity.Combined with chemotherapy, Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction could enhance the efficacy and reduce the side-effect of chemotherapy; and that one of the Lewis lung carcinoma-inhibiting mechanism of Qu Du Fu Zheng Decoction may be decreasing the expression of TK1in the peripheral biood, and halting the growth of the carcinoma cells in the G1stage, and hence, making them be unable to develop into the S stage for DNA replication. |
