Clinical Research Into Tibetan Medicine For The Treatment Of Type2Diabetes

Objective:This research is based on clinical observation of treatment using Tibetan medicine, and confirms that Tibetan medicine in the treatment of" CHI BA XING JIN NI SA KU" has a sure validity, and gives the Safety evaluation.Methods:We treated36cases of type2diabetic patients according to Tibetan medicine theory. Using the basic treatment and Tibetan medicine treatment based on syndrome differentiation. Three months are a period of treatment. In the course of the treatment, patients were not taking any other western medicine drugs. After three months treatment they were visited for observing the changes of main symptoms and secondary symptoms, and investigated based on standards of Tibetan medicine syndrome efficacy evaluation, and recorded the before and after fasting blood glucose values, postprandial2hours blood glucose values and the HbAlc value.Results:After three months Tibetan medicine treatment and diet control, the symptoms are improved obviously, statistical processing displays that total score of the symptoms has a significant difference (P<0.01) compared with the before treatment, the integral ratio of symptomatic efficacy equals85.8%, Tibetan medicine and diet control can obviously improve the patients’symptoms, the blood glucose values exists significant differences (p<0.01) before and after the treatment, at the last, the conclusion is that the Tibetan treatment Scheme in aspect of lowering blood glucose value is effective.Conclusion:This study shows that,with balancing" three factors" and diet control, the Tibetan treatment Scheme can effectively improve the Patients’levels of fasting blood glucose, postprandial2hours blood glucose and HbAlc values, it confirms that the Tibetan treatment Scheme plays an effective role in the treatment of type2diabetes, and hasn’t the adverse reaction but high safety.
