Objective:This topic through the survey of patients with urinary calculi in Xiamen, aimed at analysis of the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine constitution and Stone composition distribution,to explore the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine constitution, stone composition characteristics, the correlation between urinary calculi and traditional Chinese medicine constitution, for the prevention of urinary calculus to provide clinical basis in Xiamen. Methods:Using physique theory of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical investigation method, in strict accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria selection during January2012to January2013in Xiamen, Xiamen treatment and outpatient service seeing a doctor, have relevant examination diagnosed with urinary tract lithiasis and through various methods to get patients with calculi, calculi ingredient analysis. For selected patients with general condition survey and constitution classification, finally set up the database, perform statistical analysis.Results:1. Finally this study selected200cases,132cases of male patients (66%),68cases of female patients,(34%), including189cases (94.5%) of kidney stones and ureteral calculi,11cases (5.5%) of the bladder calculi and urethral calculi. Composition of urinary calculi with calcium oxalate stone in the majority, a total of186cases (93.00%).2. Urinary calculi patients with traditional Chinese medicine physique from big to small in turn for:Yang deficiency constitution (21%), Yin deficiency constitution (19%),wet-heat constitution (18%), and gentle temperament constitution (14.5%), blood stasis constitution (10%), phlegm-damp constitution (8.5%), Qi deficiency constitution (8%), Qi depression constitution (1%), special disposition constitution (0%), can be seen in patients with urinary calculi constitution types tend to Yang deficiency constitution, Yin deficiency constitution and wet-heat constitution.3. The distribution of constitution is no difference of different gender patients with traditional Chinese medicine constitution (P>0.05). Urinary tract infection and no urinary infection in patients with traditional Chinese medicine constitution has no difference (P>0.05). Different composition calculus with traditional Chinese medicine constitution has no statistical significance (P>0.05).Study found there were11cases of renal function in patients with abnormal, of which7cases of Yang deficiency constitution,2cases of Yin deficiency constitution,2cases of phlegm-damp constitution, through normal renal function and renal insufficiency compared to the physical distribution of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with urinary stones, there are significant differences (P<0.05).Patients with different age groups of Chinese medicine constitutional type distribution have significant differences (P<0.05), collection of cases found Yang deficiency constitution in patients older than50, Yin deficiency constitution and wet-heat constitution in patients under the age of49.Conclusion:1. Xiamen region composition of urinary calculi with calcium oxalate stone is given priority to, therefore, to focus on the prevention of calcium oxalate calculus.2. The traditional Chinese medicine constitution of patients with urinary calculi in Xiamen, with Yang deficiency constitution, Yin deficiency constitution and wet-heat constitution proportion is the largest, significantly higher than the other physique, suggests that Yang deficiency constitution, Yin deficiency constitution and wet-heat constitution primary susceptible to calculi. Constitution is adjustable, can correct biased constitution to prevent or delay the effect of stone formation.
