ObjectiveThrough the observation of30patients with knee osteoarthritisby proprioception reflexology and therapeutic effect oftraditional therapy, preliminary discussion proprioceptionreflection therapies in the treatment of knee osteoarthritisclinical efficacy.methodsSelect from September2011to June2011in wuhan city combinetraditional Chinese and western medicine hospital orthopaedicclinic on36cases of knee osteoarthritis in standardvolunteers, signed informed consent before treatment andinformed patient risk that may occur. Immediately according tothe subjects of clinical treatment sequence corresponding tothe serial number on the envelope, give card number into thegroup then, divided into experimental group and the controlgroup, according to rule out standards, and finally into a totalof30cases, of which group15cases,15cases in the controlgroup. Experimental group: proprioception reflexology+traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, intermediatefrequency electric therapy; Control group: herbal fumigationplus intermediate frequency electric therapy. A period oftreatment, a total of five times treatment, prior to the firsttreatment for the illness condition as the foundation of scorebefore treatment, with a course of treatment after the illnesscondition as the foundation of scores after treatment.Observation indexes included:"HSS knee functional scorestandard", muscle strength, and the function of the patients with knee joint in the overall evaluation scores, VAS pain score.Score change before and after treatment were observed, thepatients before and after treatment the HSS score record andVAS score. Use statistical techniques to the experimental groupand control group each score before and after treatment in groupof connoisseurs paired sample t test, experimental group andcontrol group before and after treatment scores change linesbetween groups of independent sample t test.As a resultIn the experimental group and control group in the treatmentof patients before and after the HSS score function, musclestrength, and VAS score of HSS total score, using SPSS20.0software operation: the experimental group and control groupbefore and after treatment group score paired sample t test Pvalue is less than0.01, there is statistically significant, comparable; Changes in the experimental group and control groupin muscle strength, VAS pain score and the overall scores forHSS knee joint function score difference before and after thetreatment by independent sample t test p value is less than0.05,with statistical significance, the experimental group andcontrol group in the HSS score function score before and afterthe mean scores difference through independent sample t testp value is greater than0.05.conclusionClinical observation results indicate that the experimentalgroup and control group in the treatment of both can improvesymptoms of patients with knee osteoarthritis, can alleviatepatients’ pain symptoms, can improve the patients quality oflife, but the experimental group to join proprioception reflection treatment, can stimulate muscle contractions in thetreatment process, to improve muscle strength and improve thescope of joint activities have obvious effect, for relievepatients muscle adhesion, improve the patients’ pain symptoms, improve patient quality of daily life has better effect. Therefore proprioception reflex therapy in the treatment ofknee osteoarthritis has more obvious advantages compared withtraditional treatments, is a safe and effective treatment ofknee osteoarthritis treatments, is worth promoting.
