| Objective:Diabetic retinopathy is the performance of diabeticmicrovascular disease in the eye,it has a specific funduschanges,and it is one of the complications of diabetes. we candivided diabetic retinopathy into non-proliferative diabeticretinopathy and proliferative diabetic retinopathy depending onwhether angiogenesis was formed.Glucose metabolism disorder is theroot cause of its occurrence,it also related to high blood pressureand high blood cholesterol.Its incidence is increasing year by yearwith diabetes increased,the severity of the disease is positivelycorrelated with glycemic control and duration of diabetes indiabetics.The basic treatment of NPDR is drug treatment,it is notin favor that patients in the mild to moderate degree are treatedby the line photocoagulation treatment.If the patients have macularedema,the local or grid photocoagulation is feasible,and in severenon-proliferation period, the panretinal photocoagulation therapyis feasible.non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy mostlybelonging to Xiaoke Head disease in chinese medicine whichpathogenesis is deficiency of the kidney yin,or deficiency of bothqi and yin,or deficiency of both liver and kidney.Qiming granuleis a chinese patent drug which can treat non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy well,it has much efficacy,such as nourishing Qi and Jin,nourishing the liver and kidney,improving eyesight,and dredgingcollaterals.The purpose of this study is to explore the clinicalcurative effect of Qiming granule in treating patients ofnon-proliferation diabetic retinopathy.Methods:The research objects are60patients withnon-proliferative diabetic retinopathy were randomly divided intoa treatment group and a control group,30cases (60eyes) each group.Two groups of patients were in strict control of blood sugar, activetreatment and control of hypertension,hyperlipidemia,thetreatment group used Qiming granule,1bag (4.5g)/times,3times/d,and the control group used Xueshuantong capsule,3goals(1.5g)/time,3times/d,1month was1treatment course,bothcontinuous medication for six months,and patients used the samehypoglycemic agents in treatment process.The situations ofvision,fundus microaneurysms,retinal hemorrhage, exudation, andFFA, OCT examination when patients before treatment and after onemonth, three months and six months were compared.The statistical data was processed with SPSS19.0(a statisticalsoftware). Results of visual and OCT was measurement data,the dataof comparison between before and after treatment groups wasanalyzed using two independent sample t-test,results of fundus wascategorical data,the comparison between groups using Chi-squaretest.Difference of results was statistically significant at P <0.05.Results:1.The vision of the two groups of patients wereimproved to a certain extent before and after treatment,thetreatment group overall average increased2.29±1.13rows,and the control group2.02±1.18rows,the difference was statisticallysignificant(P <0.05).2.The fundus comparison of the two groups of patients before andafter treatment:The Xueshuantong group and Qiming granule groupcould be improved to a certain extent,the total effective rate ofthe treatment group was91.67%,and the control group was71.67%.3.FFA showed consistent results with fundus examination，the FFAresults of the two groups of patients revealed that both retinalhemorrhage and exudation have different levels of absorption,andthe situation of macular edema was improved.And the curative effectof treatment group is better than the control group.4.The results according to measure macular thickness by OCTexamination displayed that the macular edema situations of bothgroups were eased after treatment1,3,and6months.With theincrease of treatment time the situation improved.And the effectof treatment group is better than the other group,the differencewas statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:Qiming granule has the functions of nourishing Oiand Jin,nourishing the liver and kidney,improving eyesight,anddredging collaterals.It is the safe and effective drug in treatingnon-proliferation diabetic retinopathy which has good effects andlittle side effects.So it is worthy of clinical application. |
