| Objective:1.To investigate the efficacy of Yi Shen Granule which has the effects of zi bu gan shen,qing re jie du, huo xue hua yu by clinical observation plus prednisone acetate in the treatment of lupus nephritis(LN).2. To evaluate the change of vWF level in LN patients treated with Yi Shen Granule plus prednisone acetate And to explore the potential mechanism of action for clinical drug.Methods:40 cases who were LN patients were divided randomly into the test group treated with Yi Shen Granule and prednisone acetate, and the control group treated with prednisone acetate. Both groups had been given 8-week courses. The symptoms, signs and related laboratoryindexs before and after treatment were observed, at the same time,20 normal controls were tested, acting as normal compare group.Results:1. At the end of 8 weeks, The total effective rate in the treated group was 85%, and that in the control group was 70%, comparison between the two showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).2.The data of the treated group, including the integration of major symptom,24-h urinary protein, A-dsDNA, ANA(ratio), showed more marked improvement than that of the control group at the corresponding period(P<0.05); 3. The results showed a significant decrement of vWF level in two group (p<0.01), and especially the greater descending range of vWF level in the treated group (p<0.05); 4. The data of the treated group, such as complement C3, don’t showed more marked improvement than that of the control group at the corresponding period(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. The data of the treated group, including the integration of major symptom,24-h urinary protein, A-dsDNA, ANA (ratio), showed more marked improvement than that of the control group (P<0.05); 2.A significant decrement of vWF level in two group, and the greater descending range of vWF level in the treated group (p<0.05). Perhaps it is one of the potential mechanism of action for Yi Shen Granule in treating LN. |
