Clinical Research On The Effect Of Tong-Bi-Granules (TBG) And Methotrexate(MTX)on Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

AIM:To observe the effect of TBG and MTX on vascular endot helial growth factor in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA), and study its curative effects. and discuss the Curative effect mechani sms of TBG and MTX in treating RA.METHODS:61patients with RA were randomly devided into the testing group with TBG and MTX(31 cases) and the control group with MTX (30 cases).RESULTS:After treatment, the total effective rate was 41.9% in the treatment group, TBG and MTX has demonstrated consistent evidence of more effective than MTX alone; reduce the dosage of hormone,and the treatment group was superior to the control group in some indices including picture of the tongue, manifestations of the pulse。TBG and MTX remarkably reduced the index levels of blood such as ESR、RF、CRP、VEGF. TBG and MTX alleviated the clinical manifestations such as arthralgia, tumefaction, limitation of movement, morning stiffness and so on. TBG and MTX is effective and safe in treating rheumatoid arthritis.CONCLUSION:1.TBG and MTX amelioration the syndrome of TCM and the index of laboratory Obviously; 2. TBG and MTX remarkably reduced the index levels of blood such as ESR、RF、CRP and the level of VEGF in blood-serum; 3.TBG and MTX has demonstrated consistent evidence of more effective than MTX alone, and the treatment group was superior to the control group in amelioration of symptom. TBG and MTX remarkably reduced the index levels of laboratory.
