Research On Domain Ontology Constructing And Reasoning Of The "Three Kingdoms"

Ontology can be used in medicine, agriculture, history, military and other research fields, the prerequisite is to construct the corresponding domain-specific ontology or universal ontology, modeling and representating to the domain knowledge. At this stage, there are many domain ontology has been completed and used in practice, but most of the publicly available resources are largely confined to the limited field of natural science. In the social sciences, particularly in our disciplines of humanities and history, the history ontology resources are very scarce, the construction of history domain ontology still in its infancy.In this thesis, the seven-step method is chosen as the ontology guidance method, and Protege3.4 is selected as ontology building tools. It eventually constructs a "Three Kingdoms" domain ontology which meets the special cultural and historical characteristics of the Three Kingdoms period. That is look forward to enrich our country’s cultural and historical ontology resources and provide construction methods and process to the follow-up study. This article mainly includes the following sections:In part one, it introduces the theory of domain ontology, sums up the necessary conditions and key issues for domain ontology construction from the technology, methods, and other experts point. That is to provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the later construction and reasoning of domain ontology.In part two, it firstly analyzes the text features of the "Three Kingdoms". Then on the basis of the relevant theory, it proposes construction ideas and clear field and building goals of the "Three Kingdoms" domain ontology construction. At last, it focuses on the design process of the ontology.In part three, on the basis of the above design, it elaborates expression process of the ontology from ontology database coding and dynamic knowledge. And further discusses the storage model of the "Three Kingdoms" domain ontology.In part four, it discusses the role of domain ontology reasoning. Then based on the depth research in the description logic and SWRL rules, this paper details the "Three Kingdoms" domain ontology reasoning mechanism and implementation process from the detection reasoning based on description logic and knowledge discovery reasoning based on SWRL rules.
