Discussion on the effectiveness of writing teaching in TCSL is a research projectwhich has practical significance.By the means of designing and practicing in thewriting class of Chinese as a foreign language,this paper is to explore the applicationof the Task-based Approach. In the process of group task, students can learn theirwriting skills of the exposition and improve their Intercultural CommunicationCompetence.This paper has made a theoretical analysis in the connection amongCommunicative Approach, Task-based Approach, Intercultural CommunicationCompetence and Second Language Teaching. According to the three stages ofTask-based Approach divided by the predecessors, this paper builds a concrete modeof Task-based Approach in the writing teaching in TCSL. Lesson Plan of TheExposition of Different Local Culture is designed with this mode, and the reasons aregiven in details as well.This Lesson Plan uses “Introduce festivals of different regions” as the breakthroughpoint of the teaching content, applied to teaching middle level students in Class Four,which is from class of School of Chinese as a Second Language in SYSU. By the methods of class observation, questionnaire survey and writing analysis, the feedbackopinions will be collected from observation teachers and students, and a conclusion ofthe significance and the deficiency of the practice will be made finally.
