The educational level of China is getting higher and higher with itseconomy growing fast and continuous improvement of internationalstatus. More and more international students prefer to choose China astheir overseas study destination. However, because of different culturalbackgrounds, values, languages and learning experiences, internationalstudents have some difficulties and problems in adapting to Chineseculture. Focusing on the learning experience and everyday life ofinternational students in Xi’an International Studies University, and basedon the theories of intercultural adaptation and social network, using bothquantitative and qualitative research approaches, the researcher carris outa series of interviews from different perspectives like cultural differences,social interaction, academic situation, psychological stress, and hostculture’s reaction to international students to explore the internationalstudents’ intercultural adaptation situation in China.
