Although the folk cultural heritage is rich in our country, facing the danger of disappearing in the course of modernization. This article explores the relevance of the folk culture heritage education and art education, and how to develop and use reasonably the local outstanding cultural heritage based on the integration of them.The exploitation and the use of curriculum resources were important component of basic education curriculum reform. The author took their home folk art Huangmei Cross-stitch as an example, according to history, philosophy, and folk culture to analyze the origin, development and its artistic features of the Huangmei Cross-stitch, and interpreted its cultural connotation and artistic value. Meanwhile, the author explored further the Huangmei Cross-stitch on the basis of art education curriculum reform and the advantages of the subjects. According the analysis of the feasibility and necessity of the Huangmei Cross-stitch curriculum resources exploitation and utilization, to discussed how to combine the important curriculum resources of cross stitch and the art teaching, in order to attain to the folk cultural heritage’s inheritance and art teaching resources optimization. This research can provide some theoretical inspire of the confused folk cultural heritage status, and provide some explore experience for the teacher worked on the board line.
