Distinction Exists With Commonness-the Design Language And Manifestation Of Han Moire Waran

This thesis is mainly studied on the distinctions in Han Moire Watan(eaves tiles with cloud patterns produced in the Han Dynasty) in terms of theirdesign language and manifestation. Han Moire Watan has been researchedmuch more from the point of theoretic and aesthetics, however, less in itsmanifestation based on design language, which is worthy of deeply studying.By means of analyzing the feature of Han Moire Watan, the discussion on itsdesign expression provide a direct and interesting method for modern designtheory, meanwhile, widen design concept for modern designers.The structure of this paper can be divided into two parts: first, the prefacehas a brief introduction of the research methods the author mainly used in theproject, as well as typical research findings put forward from domestic andabroad. Then comes to the second part--the main text. In this part, beginningwith the discussion on decorative language expression of Han Moire Watan byexplaining the historical causes that it flourishes during the entire Han Dynasty,further the author makes a concrete analysis of the differences in its decorativelanguage manifestation to come up with the core content of the paper, that is,the difference and its causes can be proved by Watan manufacturingtechnology. At the same time, the paper aims to provide ideas of decorativedesigns combining theory with practice.
