The Redesign And Application Of Eaves Tile's Pattern

Science and technology are the lifeblood of a country;culture is the soul of a nation.The eaves tile pattern which created by our ancestors is differ in thousands of ways.It is not only a traditional Chinese art combining painting and artistic carving,but also a cultural heritage that reflects the development of history;besides,it is rich in design materials.However,there are few of works which take inspiration from the styles as well as the compositions of eaves tile pattern in the modern decoration.The few works we can reach only exist in some logo designs.This paper proceeds from the art characteristics and application value of eaves tile design.Through the research of eaves tile pattern's composition characteristics,shapes and implications,we have a more comprehensive understanding towards eaves tile culture.After extracting the desired design elements from eaves tile pattern,to explore the modern design in the process of using the eaves tiles traditional implementation on significance,we apply them in the works by redesigning.And how to draw lessons from the eaves tiles traditional design to design the endowed with Chinese characteristics.First briefly introduces the eaves tiles traditional historical origins,development stage and the evolution,the second is on the eaves tiles traditional basic attribute,behind to introduce illustration design and logo design graphic from language rules and relevance principle.Finally,on the eaves tiles tradition learning and research,and extract essence,for the modern logo design better reference to traditional eaves tiles graphics and implement innovation,forming a logo design with Chinese characteristicsThe innovation of this design is: eaves art and illustrative design of the combination.The work describes the tempestuous love story between Sue San and Wang Jinglong in the opera Yu Tang Chun.The paper shows the whole story by means of three major sections and nine pieces of little pictures.According to the development of the plot,the paper uses eaves tile pattern as the background for enriching the pictures,heightening the atmosphere and reflecting the moods of characters after a redesign.Next,on the basis of the previous research and summary,this design uses the artistic features of eaves tile pattern to make signs,alsomakes the whole work into a derivative and inherits the traditional Chinese culture and science that carried by eaves tile.
